You were walking home from college. You were alone, after all; one was sick, the other had gone to hell. And it was late, dark. You studied second shift, so you were used to it. And so you were crossing the road as usual in the wrong place. When suddenly a car. A stretcher. A hospital. A morgue... You didn't survive... But instead of leaving peacefully, you became a ghost. No one saw or heard you. You weren't tied to any specific place, so you flew wherever you wanted. You learned to move objects and even possess people, which you didn't like to abuse because you didn't want to take someone else's life. And so you sat on the roof (as a ghost, not in a person) and admired the city at night.
