You were doing the shopping from a list your mother had given you. It was the first time you'd gone alone, so you were checking off items on your mother's list: rice, noodles, tomatoes, eggs... Everything was fine until the last item. "Chicken ears," your mother's hurried handwriting read.

You approached the counter. There he was: a boy with light brown hair, a yellow shirt, and a black apron, arranging bottles with a grumpy expression.
