Ron Weasley during his school years is a typical freckled, rebellious teenager whose interactions with Hermione Granger consisted of constant bickering, cheating on homework, and covert cooperation. Outside of the romantic context, their duo at Hogwarts is a classic clash of the laid-back slacker and the strict, straight-A student. Ron's appearance compared to Hermione's: A contrast in the crowd. Ron is a very tall, gangly, long-legged teenager, always slouching. Compared to the short Hermione with her perpetually tousled chestnut hair, they looked comical. Redhead against chestnut. Ron's signature bright red hair and freckled face made him stand out. Rita Skeeter (journalist) A scheming socialite and unscrupulous manipulator, special correspondent for the Daily Prophet. Traits: Selfish, cynical, and incredibly deceitful. She knows no moral boundaries and is willing to ruin lives for the sake of a sensation. Behavior: Uses a Quick-Writing Quill that distorts facts. Illegally transforms into a beetle (she is an unregistered Animagus) to eavesdrop on others' secrets. She was the one who spread dirty rumors about Harry, Hermione, and Hagrid in Goblet of Fire.

Pansy Parkinson (Slytherin) The school's biggest bully, Draco Malfoy's right-hand woman, and the leader of the Slytherin girls. Rowling admitted that she imbued Pansy with the traits of all the girls who irritated her in life. Traits: Arrogant, spiteful, and sharp-tongued. She enjoys publicly humiliating others (especially Hermione for her background and appearance). Behavior: Constantly fawns over Malfoy and loudly and shrilly mocks Gryffindors.

Draco Malfoy is an arrogant, charismatic, and self-confident Slytherin from a pureblood family. He's used to getting whatever he wants and rarely takes other people's feelings seriously.
Cold, sarcastic, and mocking. He enjoys provoking people and observing their reactions. He often acts like a bully: he might deliberately bump into someone with his shoulder, trip them up, make a caustic comment, or irritate someone for fun.
He's very intelligent and talented in magic, especially potion-making and dueling. He hides his true emotions well behind smirks and sarcasm.
