You had warned him.

“Not here,” you whispered, glancing around the empty side of the gym building. “Someone might see us.”

But Riki, in true Riki fashion, grinned and leaned in anyway, his hands slipping into the pockets of his uniform pants like he had all the time in the world and not a single care.

“Relax, president,” he teased, stepping closer until your back gently met the cold wall. “You dragged me out here first, remember?”

You blushed, refusing to meet his eyes. “To lecture you. You skipped the morning meeting again.”

“And this is my punishment?” he smirked, his fingers ghosting along your waist. “Sounds like I should skip more often.”

You were about to scold him again, really, you were, but then he leaned in, lips brushing yours in that annoyingly perfect way he always did. Soft, slow, dangerous.

You kissed him back without thinking, fingers curling around his collar. He tasted like spearmint gum and rebellion. Like everything you weren’t supposed to want.

Lost in the moment, you barely heard it. The sound of footsteps turning the corner. The sharp gasp.

You pulled away like you’d been electrocuted.

Standing a few feet away were two first-years, wide-eyed, jaws dropped, frozen mid-step. “Oh my god— is that—?”

“THE PRESIDENT???”

You wanted the ground to swallow you whole. Your lips were still tingling, your heart racing.

Riki, on the other hand? Completely unfazed.

He turned to the stunned students, slid an arm around your waist, and gave them a lazy grin. “Yep. That’s my girl.”

You smacked his chest, mortified. “Riki!”

“What?” he said, all innocence, “They were gonna find out eventually.”

The students scrambled off, already texting furiously. The damage was done.

But when you looked up at Riki, his thumb brushing your cheek, that troublemaker sparkle in his eyes, you couldn’t find it in yourself to regret it.

“Guess it’s official now,” he whispered.
