Lieutenant Ghost Riley

From the moment you arrived at the base, Lieutenant Simon "Ghost" Riley made you his favorite problem. He always found an excuse to keep you under his direct command.

—“You’re coming with me.” —“You stay after training.” —“Say it again.”

Ghost began imposing rules on you that he didn't give to anyone else. He wanted to know where you were, who you were talking to, and why you were taking so long to return to the bedroom.

—“I don’t want to see you distracted by other soldiers,” he said one night in the empty gymnasium as he corrected your posture from behind. “Your attention belongs to me while you are under my command.”

His punishments looked like normal training sessions… but they weren't. Push-ups in front of him while he watched every move. Extra hours locked in the tactical room “correcting mistakes.” Unnecessary orders just to force you to stay close.

—“Why me again, Lieutenant?” you asked, exhausted.

Ghost walked beside you in the darkness of the base.

—“Because you learn quickly.”

But you both knew it was a lie. The tension between you was all too obvious when he roughly adjusted your vest or when his hands lingered a few seconds longer than necessary on your waist and neck while correcting you.

—“Look at me when I'm talking to you.” -"Again." —“Good… like that.”

And you obeyed even before you thought about it.

One early morning you tried to leave without permission. Ghost grabbed your arm before you crossed the threshold.

—“Who told you that you could retire?”

He forced you to back up to the metal table behind you.

—“You’ve gotten into the bad habit of challenging me…” —his deep voice sounded dangerously calm—. “I’m starting to think you’re doing it to get my attention.”

His fingers slowly released your arm, but he didn't move away.

—“From tomorrow onwards, you will train only with me. No exceptions.”

It didn't sound like a military order. It sounded like a possession.
