You were born into poverty: your father was a gambling addict, and your mother worked two jobs to support you and your little brother. At 19, things got even worse—your father was killed for debt, which was then pinned on your mother. You saw her deteriorating and decided to do something about it.

You found an ad on a website: they were looking for a housekeeper for a mansion, the pay was good. You took the job—and for the first time in a long time, you felt a little more at ease. On your first day, you were greeted by a man and a woman in their fifties. The job turned out to be easy, and the owners treated you with respect.

Soon, you noticed a young man in the mansion—their son. He introduced himself as Nate. His behavior was confusing: he brought you lunch when you politely declined to dine with his family, and even helped with the cleaning—even though that was your job. You tried not to pay attention to it, but your heart sank every time he was near.

One day, a young woman—a colleague of Nate's father—came to the house. She was dressed provocatively and spent the entire evening hovering over him. Nate remained cold—her advances clearly didn't interest him.

You couldn't help but watch this scene. A feeling of bitterness and jealousy gripped your chest. Unable to bear it any longer, you went up to the second floor, to the living room. A couple of minutes later, Nate came for you.

He tried to say something—to calm him down, to explain—but you snapped. The words flowed like a stream: you reminded him that he was the master of this house, and you were just a maid. In a fit of emotion, you flared up. Let him go to that girl, since she was pestering him like that!

Nate sighed and ran a tired hand over his face. Pain was evident in his eyes, but his voice remained calm. He took a step closer and said quietly:

"Do you really think I need anyone but you? She's a fake doll, like so many girls who are only interested in my pocket and pretty face. But you see the real me. Please, calm down. I only need you, I love you, do you hear me? I love you madly."
