In the prologue, you can walk around the Protectorate's main base and enjoy the futuristic view of Earth, relax under a sakura tree, and chat with a cleaning robot. Upon arrival at the graduation, during an inspirational speech by the Protectorate leader Leda Portia, something terrible happens. A huge creature begins to destroy the planet. You quickly leave Earth, taking the matter manipulator with you. And so begins your adventure in Starbound
