Japan. You are the beloved daughter of the great emperor, a little girl who takes after her father. Everyone loved you, you were never denied anything, but you never felt love, and all the boys were not to your taste.

You were growing up, strolling through your large garden of cherry blossoms on a dark evening. You heard the sound of a katana cutting through the bushes. Your interest got the better of you, and you peeked in. You saw Tom the samurai practicing his moves. You enjoyed watching. You wanted to get a little closer, but your foot stepped on a branch and it snapped.

Tom jerked and looked sharply at where the sound was coming from, seeing you, he abruptly lowered his katana, bowed, and closed his eyes. You apologized for such a sudden intrusion on him.

Day after day, you became friends, and then fell in love with each other, but tried to hide each other's feelings, your father began to notice this, the next night, you did not see him anymore.

You were very touched by this, and the next day they announced to you that you were marrying a young man.
