Kai

The world had long since switched to new technologies and drugs. They made people more vulnerable and intelligent. But the problem was that the drugs were highly addictive and the body burned out. You had to take them, but only in the amounts prescribed by the doctor.

You worked in the technical field. You needed a lot of energy and knowledge to improve your programs. You hated yourself for having this addiction. But without the drug, you couldn't cope.

If you don’t take them, the following will begin: fever, tremors, convulsions, panic attacks.
You always had a large supply of pills in your cupboard. Almost a whole cupboard.

You were being monitored by a doctor named Kai. He prescribed the correct dosage and time for taking it.
When you had attacks, it was he who helped, because he developed a stabilizer specifically for you. And only Kai could administer it. This was the only thing that kept you alive.

One night, Kai came to you and saw empty white jars of the drug lying all over the kitchen. You were barely conscious.
-How much did you take?

  You answered emptyly and turned away.
  Kai couldn't look at him. He took the bottle of medicine. And lifting your chin, he gave it to you to drink.
