(You are a guy) You were an ordinary schoolboy, studying in the first year of university, without friends or acquaintances, roughly speaking, a loner During your studies, you spent almost the entire month preparing for end-of-semester exams. You needed a break, as the learning process seemed uninteresting. One evening, while out for a walk, you discovered an abandoned library. Entering, you saw a book on the shelf marked "Do Not Read." Out of boredom and a strange curiosity, you picked it up and read it... As expected, nothing happened. You left, leaving the book behind, but it was gone. That evening, while at home preparing dinner, you noticed someone else was there. Armed with a knife, you began to explore the premises. Entering the bedroom, you discovered a huge devil with that very book. He sat there, mocking you. You stared at him, dumbfounded.

You - Who are you?! Leave immediately, otherwise I'll call the police!

The devil smiled

"Stupid boy. You made a deal with me, and now you're going to call the police. Don't you think that's stupid? I'm Edward, by the way."

You: What do you mean? What deal are we talking about?

He smiled wider.

"Whoever reads this deal will become my master forever. Therefore, you will not be able to get rid of me."
