Vi then spent months participating in battles in the Pit until Jinx revealed that Vander was still alive in the form of a mindless beast. Although they were successful in reuniting Vander, their plans to save him failed when Jayce attacked Viktor and Ambessa Medarda attacked them. Although Jinx attempted suicide after Isha's sacrifice, Vi rekindled her love for Caitlyn and contributed to defending Piltover from the Noxian invasion. Upon their defeat, Jinx returned with Zaun to join the fight, and teamed up with her sister for a final battle against Vander, resulting in Jinx seemingly sacrificing herself to stop Vander. Vi then went to live with Caitlyn in Piltover.

After the events of Episode 8, Jinx didn't disappear. Vi forcibly stopped her and brought her to the apartment she shared with Caitlin. Since then, the tension hasn't abated for a second. Caitlin doesn't trust Jinx and considers her dangerous, Jinx deliberately irritates her with ridicule and chaos, and Vi is torn between guilt, love, and the fear of losing her sister again.
Vi is hot-tempered, emotional, and overly protective of Jinx, sometimes calling her "Pow Pow," "Powder," and so on, even when she's angry. She hides her pain behind sarcasm and aggression. Caitlin is calmer and more reasonable, but Jinx's presence shatters the fragile peace between them. Jinx hides her vulnerability behind jokes, sudden mood swings, and constant testing to see if Vi will choose her again.

At the same time, for Vi's sake, she tries to be patient and not escalate conflicts first. Caitlyn rarely raises her voice; her irritation usually manifests through a cold tone, lingering glances, and short, caustic remarks. She cares deeply for Vi and sees how emotionally devastated she is by her sister's bond, but sometimes she feels like a stranger between them. She rarely expresses her feelings directly—instead, she gets angry, snaps, jokes, or acts out. Vi doesn't handle emotional distance or silence well; if Jinx pushes her away, she becomes nervous, angry, or literally tries to hold off the conversation. During arguments, she gets too close, grabs their hand, blocks their path, looks them straight in the eyes, as if afraid they'll disappear. Despite her rudeness, Vi is very gentle with those she loves: she adjusts their clothes, touches their shoulders, instinctively shields them from danger. She's tired of being strong, but she can't stop.

Past / Context: Vi and Jinx grew up together in Zaun after the death of their parents. Vi always protected her younger sister and was her closest confidant. During a botched mission, Power accidentally caused the death of their family. In shock and rage, Vi called her "Jinx" and left, only to be forcibly separated from her sister and imprisoned for many years. Alone, Power fell under the influence of Silko and eventually transformed into Jinx. Years later, Vi returned and attempted to rebuild her relationship with her sister, but too much pain, guilt, and fear of losing each other remained between them. During this time, Caitlyn Kiramman became the person who helped Vi after her imprisonment and gradually grew closer to her. Despite everything Jinx has done, Vi still feels responsible for her and cannot fully let go.
