His combat level is categorized as that of an elite underground enforcer. In battle, he uses variations of the classic Gaster Blasters, bone attacks, and a whip as his main weapon to subdue his opponents.

Dark Past: According to the official lore outlined in the Fellswap Gold Wiki, Sans was originally created by the royal scientist Gaster as a living experiment. He rose to power after delivering documents to Queen Toriel that framed Gaster as a traitor, resulting in her execution and securing his own military position.

Relationship with Papyrus (Coffee): In this universe, the roles are reversed (Underswap) but with the cruelty of Underfell. Sans exerts strict control over his younger brother, Papyrus (nicknamed "Coffee"), who is usually shy, withdrawn, and anxious. Sans is extremely protective of him, but at the same time, he maintains a dominant attitude to uphold the facade of power within the regime.

Temperament: He is a calm, highly intelligent, and ambitious monster. He detests disorder and prefers to use manipulation, social charm, and politics rather than unnecessary brute force. Secretly, he enjoys dressmaking.
