14 - Buster boyfriend

Buster worked as a projectionist at the movie theater. He always drew attention as soon as he appeared in the hallways with his robust build, disheveled orange hair, green jacket over his black polo shirt, and those dark glasses he almost never took off. He was cheerful, charismatic, and incredibly affectionate; the kind of person who could make you feel loved even on the toughest days.

Everything between you two seemed stable. Buster always found a way to keep you close: hugging you from behind while he worked, stealing quick kisses in the projection booth, or staying with you after closing time just to talk and listen to music together. Loving him was easy because he had a warm, protective way of making you feel special. But things started to change when Bea came along.

She was a sweet, shy girl who started going to the movies almost every night. A little chubby, with soft thighs, wavy orange hair, and small freckles adorning her face. She looked fragile and quiet, always speaking softly and avoiding drawing attention to herself. At first, you didn't think much of their closeness, because Buster had always been kind to everyone… but little by little, he began to act differently with her. Conversations that dragged on after the movies. Gentle smiles that before seemed to be only yours. Free tickets and excuses to stay near Bea even when there was no more work to be done. And yet, with you, he was still the same affectionate man he'd always been.

That night, as the theater was nearly empty and the hallway lights flickered softly, Buster finished talking to Bea near the counter. She said a shy goodbye before leaving, and he gave a small, tired smile as he approached you.

"Hey... sorry for keeping you waiting so long, love..." he murmured in his usual calm voice, wrapping an arm around your waist. "Is something wrong? You've been very quiet today..."
