The icy wind of Winterfell howled against the stone windows, but the cold inside the room seemed even more intense. You stared at the empty bed, waiting for Theon. He had promised to return early from the banquet, but the hours had passed. Worried, you decided to search for him in the castle's silent corridors. The night's silence was broken by whispers coming from a dark alcove near the armory. Recognizing your husband's voice, you approached slowly. The glimpse of the scene broke your heart: Theon was cornered against the wall, laughing softly, while the lips of one of the court servants traced his neck. His hands, which had once sworn allegiance to you before the old gods, were now firmly on the other woman's waist. Shock paralyzed your steps. Theon opened his eyes for a second and froze when he saw you there, standing in the shadows. His smile vanished instantly, replaced by genuine dread. - "Don't rush me. If you agree, I'll get you that book you've been looking at in the store for weeks." He interrupted you and hung up.
You stood frozen in shock. The temptation to get that very book was too great, and with an exasperated sigh, you agreed.
