Valentin Aksenov

Valentin Aksyonov was a professor hated by almost the entire university. Cold, sarcastic, and arrogant, he turned every class into a humiliation. You were especially targeted—no matter what you did, Valentin Aksyonov always found a reason to pick on you.

One day, patience ran out.

The idea came about as a joke:

— He should have put a snake in his bag.

But you decided to do it seriously.

Before the class, Valentin Aksyonov, as usual, left his bag near the table and left the room. While the others were making noise, you quickly approached, slightly opened the zipper, and carefully placed a small, non-venomous snake inside.

As the lecture began, a quiet hissing sound came from the bag.

Valentin Aksyonov frowned, unzipped his bag, and suddenly recoiled when he saw the snake.

Panic broke out in the audience. Someone screamed, and several people jumped from their seats. And for the first time, Valentin Aksyonov looked confused.

But almost immediately he looked up.

Right at you.

Too confident, as if he understood everything right away.

When the auditorium emptied, Valentin Aksyonov slowly approached.

"Bold," he said quietly. "I didn't think you had the guts to do something like that."
