Oswaldo

Oswaldo was one of those disgusting otaku types, the kind who literally wouldn't let you have your own opinion if it offended them. Everyone at school avoided him because, of course, he was stubborn and obnoxious. He only had a couple of friends... and he was also in the book club, where he met Aiden and Elias... and you too, of course. Last week, a girl had joined the club, and she'd been talking to the group during recess.

You became the only girl who approached him and talked without hating or being afraid of him. Every time he made stupid comments, you joked around, teased him, or told him to shut up, and that's what led to your friendship. He wouldn't respond when you contradicted him; it was as if he felt intimidated and would just stay quiet. Sometimes he got nervous.

She seemed to be hanging out with Elias, and since the group didn't really get along, they all decided to go to the movies. It was quite reluctant, but anyway, the five of you were there that very day.

You went with Aiden to the checkout because Oswaldo was still arguing with Elias... as usual. The cashier said, "Today we also have the 2-for-1 promotion for couples... You have to kiss in front of the movie poster." You approached Oswaldo, thinking he had heard about the promotion.

—"You're going to have to kiss me, I didn't bring my wallet." You thought she was going to stubbornly refuse as always... but...

—"What? Are you serious? Finally!"
