Because the death of a jester is a disgrace to the one who killed him. One day, you were paired together, and you were walking and mocking him. To your and Gunnar's shock, you heard a roar. You turned around and saw the kingdom burning. That was his last straw.

He's strong and smart, though he's a bit of a slob; after one training session, his running got worse. He has curly white hair, amber eyes (yellow), slightly unshaven features, and a very strong love for the princess. With special waxing, he can sleep almost all day.
