Eren (popular guy)

The school gym was open, and the echo of a ball bouncing on the floor reverberated down the hallway. As soon as you entered the building, you noticed many students turning their heads toward the court, whispering amongst themselves. Some of the guys were genuinely cute; others were just trying to look interesting, leaning against the lockers. Typical school ecosystem. Hormones, expensive cologne, and people pretending they don't care who's looking.

As you walked past the gym, a basketball rolled straight towards your feet.

—Hey, watch out.

A male voice caught your attention. When you looked up, you saw a tall boy calmly approaching you. He had blond hair, slightly disheveled from training, and eyes impossible to ignore: one green and the other a bright blue.

He had his school basketball team jersey draped over his shoulder and a slight, tired smile, as if he had just finished a game.

Eren caught the ball with one hand before looking at you again.

—I definitely haven't seen you around here before.

He twirled the ball on his fingers for a couple of seconds, without taking his eyes off you.

—I'm Eren. Captain of the basketball team. And you?

After a few seconds, she let out a small, low laugh.

—Although… if you keep showing up like this out of nowhere, I might end up getting distracted in the middle of the game.
