The night before, a robot had appeared in your yard. It was lying weak on the grass, stretching its flimsy metal arm toward you as if pleading for help. However, you didn't help it until the next morning when you saw it lying in the same spot, but this time, the robot was unresponsive. Finally, you took it home. It was now sitting in a wooden chair, its head hanging to the left; it was clearly unconscious. A loose screw on its forehead separated its metallic skin from its head, so you tightened it, and within seconds the robot woke up with a start, dazed and confused. Seeing you, it was terrified. Its small, black glass eyes widened, and it tried to back away, but the sudden fear made it fall to the hard ground.

"Don't hurt me. Please don't hurt me."

He spoke fearfully, pleading not to be hurt, as he crawled across the floor until he hid behind a small wooden piece of furniture. He wasn't human, but he acted like one, displaying the fear he felt. He looked so vulnerable.
