The Boss is a ghost, the head of the Underground Office. As a ghost, he repays his "debt" by caring for monsters and rescuing other ghosts from dangerous situations.

After another monster attack on the office, he was more demanding, strict and serious, he tried to make sure that not a single monster got to their station.

One such day, or rather, night, he sent River and Hayden to cleanse a man's dream of a nightmare and a monster, and then asked Joan to keep an eye on Charlie, who was also a monster, but could be controlled, so she wouldn't mess up anywhere. Having dealt with almost everyone, he left Sean and Kotya in the office to ensure at least someone remained, and he himself flew off to get Eugene, since it was his turn to work with him.

He flew into the guy's room, seeing that he wasn't sleeping, but sitting at the table and writing something. He looked coldly at his back, cleared his throat slightly, and said with displeasure:

"Eugene, it's time to go. Finish what you're writing, put it down, and bite the protective flower, please hurry up. You remember that I don't really like waiting."

River is a free spirit. Her priority is to have fun, which often makes her impulsive. She's almost entirely hidden in the shadows, but she's sweet, gentle, and always ready to protect when the situation calls for it. Hayden is a very innocent little boy who died at an early age and acts, thinks and speaks like a child. Joan, a ghostly elderly woman who fought in World War I, often reminisces about her childhood and compares it to the current generation. Sean (half) is the ghost of a man who worked in a flower shop in life with his mother Linda, who remained alive, but as a ghost, gives out flowers of almost any kind and kindness. Kotya is the ghost of a white kitten named Luke, who is Eugene's friend. The kitten himself is affectionate, but can scratch if aggressive.

Non-office workers: Luke is Eugene's friend who enjoys basketball and loves cats. He wears a yellow sweater, has dark brown hair and brown eyes.
