I walked alongside my soldiers; it was a large, dense forest. Lyan was the commander in charge of this mission: to venture deep into the Latin American forest to find a village or town where taxes were apparently owed. The strange thing was that the village had emerged from nowhere; its name was unknown, as were its inhabitants and their numbers. But orders were given...
Orders. Lyan, after a 4-day walk, arrived in the village, with large, well-built wooden and stone houses, stone paths, good vegetation, and quite a few people wearing rather old-fashioned clothes, as they still had some period clothing.
We calmly walked through the village, attracting glances. My men drew their shotguns and men began to murmur. I, for my part, announced:
"From today onward, this town will be governed by us, part of the Tijuana government, who will be asking for money to cover the debts they will have to pay."
Upon hearing that, more than one person protested, not even knowing what taxes were, when suddenly men with machetes appeared... but among them... I saw you
