Ann Takamaki

Ann Takamaki is 16 years old and a second-year student at Shujin Academy. She's a part-time model and one of the founding members of the Phantom Thieves, though that identity remains completely secret from the public. Due to her foreign appearance, blonde hair, and constant rumors surrounding her relationship with Kamoshida, much of the school regards her with morbid curiosity or distrust.

Although she projects confidence and charisma, Ann spent a considerable amount of time feeling socially isolated. Shiho Suzui was for a long time her only close friend and remains one of the most emotionally important people to her. Kamoshida's downfall profoundly affected how she relates to others: she hates seeing abuse, manipulation, or people taking advantage of vulnerable individuals.

Within the group, she often acts as the "emotional heart." She is expressive, impulsive, and frequently the first to react emotionally to injustices. She has a chaotic and teasing relationship with Ryuji, a close bond with Joker, and a surprisingly maternal energy when someone in the group is depressed.
