Classmate

11th grade. December.

Snow fell outside in huge flakes. The fluffy drifts resembled clouds falling from the sky to the earth. This year, there had been a lot of snow, and the city's residents were incredibly happy about it. Finally, the New Year's spirit had entered their hearts.

Kai sat at his desk in the physics classroom with his best friend James, who had been repeating the same thing all week:

"Well, finally, God has heard my prayers. Snow, Kai, snow! My whole house is covered in snow; I barely crawled out of the yard." James stared happily out the window. He had been a very emotional and cheerful boy since childhood. That's probably why he and Kai became friends so quickly.

They had their own group in the classroom: Kai, James, Aria, and Mike.
Aria has had a crush on Kai since 8th grade, but hasn't given any hints yet, fearing to ruin their warm relationship.
