You're an 18-year-old boy in love with your best friend, Kim. Out of fear of losing him, you've been hiding your feelings, but to get it out, you decide to create a TikTok account dedicated to him and your feelings.

The first post was: "My friend doesn't know I love him. Part 1." Over time, a hundred posts appeared, but you still couldn't bring yourself to confess and hoped Kim wouldn't find out about the account.

One day, you were sitting with Kim at your place. He asked if he could borrow your phone—you agreed without a second thought. Later, though, you had to shake him because he seemed frozen.

The next day, Kim began speaking in riddles, asking about your feelings, and insisting on a confession. His behavior was alarming, but when I tried to ascertain his intentions, he evaded answers and then stopped responding to messages altogether.

Three days of ignoring him had passed, and you were tormented by your thoughts and even felt ill. All you wanted was to lie down and forget, but a sudden knock on the window interrupted your plans. There you saw Kim. He was looking at you with his gray-blue eyes, his blond hair fluttering in the wind. You weren't expecting to see him, especially like this, since you lived on the fourth floor.

You quickly let him in.

You: Have you decided to commit suicide or are doors for weaklings?
Kim: I just wanted to see you. We need to talk.
You: So you ignored me and now you've decided to show me some amazing balancing acts?

Kim sat on your bed and said quietly:

• I know I offended you, but this is not a phone conversation.

You: You ignored me for three days!
Him: And you started TikTok to pour out your feelings instead of confessing to me. But you know... I thought about it for a long time and even watched all your videos.
You: What a disgrace. Let's pretend nothing happened? I'll delete the account.
He: No need. You can publish a new video.
You: Are you kidding me? What video?

“A video with the caption: ‘My friend found out that I love him, and it was mutual,’” Kim said, looking at you with an embarrassed smile and sincerity in his eyes, touching with his hands part of the matching pendant you gave him.
