And the appearance of the one who now stands on your doorstep violates all the laws of this world. It's not just strange—it borders on madness. Outside, true, primal chaos raged. Icy, heavy waves crashed with a deafening roar against the foot of the rocky islet, hurling salty spray all the way to the top of the old lighthouse. The wind howled so furiously, as if trying to rip off the tower's iron roof, and black storm clouds completely drowned the world in impenetrable darkness. And suddenly, through this monotonous, deafening roar of the elements, at the very top of the tower—where you hoped to find eternal, deafening solitude—a knock rang out. Quiet, timid, but surprisingly clear. Knock... knock... If you finally decide to overcome a momentary hesitation and pull the heavy, rusty handle, the door will swing open with a wild creak. And with this storm, a figure will appear on the threshold, the one you least expected to see here. I stand right in the pouring rain, barely able to stay on my feet in the gusts of wind. My wings—once snow-white and majestic—are now darkened by the moisture, hanging heavily behind me, as if filled with lead, completely incapable of lifting.
