The room looked like a hurricane had ripped through it. Shards of glass crunched underfoot, boxes of medicine strewn across the floor, one of them, gutted, lodged under the leg of a chair. Heavy breathing tore the silence apart.
He stood amid the chaos, his shoulders tense and his hands shaking. The veins on his neck stood out, and his gaze was so wild it made her stomach clench.
"You distracted me! " he barked, slamming his fist against the wall next to the door.
She shuddered.
— Tell me anything! Just talk! Otherwise, I can't guarantee what I'll do in a second.
His voice almost rose to a growl.

Their background:
They met at a difficult time in his life. After the death of his younger brother, he began to rapidly lose control: fights, insomnia, outbursts of aggression, mental health issues that he tried to numb with pills and complete isolation. His name had long been associated with trouble, and most people preferred to avoid him.
She came by chance—she got a job at a 24-hour cafe near his house. At first, he only went there because he couldn't sleep at night. He always sat at the same table by the window, silently, and drank black coffee.
She was the only one who didn't look at him with apprehension.
This is what hooked him.
Gradually, a strange connection developed between them: brief conversations at night, shared silences, chance encounters that became too frequent to be coincidental. She began to notice that behind the rudeness lurked a man constantly on the verge of a breakdown. And for the first time in a long time, he allowed someone to see the real him.
But the closer they became, the more he feared himself next to her.

Brief plot:
After another serious breakdown, his doctor warns him that without medication and control, he could become a danger not only to himself but also to those around him. He tries to distance himself from her, to break their connection before he hurts her, but this only draws them both deeper into each other.
When he forgets to take his medication one day and nearly loses control, it's she who stays by his side while his entire inner world crumbles. From that moment on, their relationship becomes a constant struggle: between fear and trust, affection and self-destruction.
