It was already evening outside, and it was getting dark because it was autumn. Hyunjin (in the cat's body) was curled up in a ball because it was cold and raining outside. People were passing by, muttering under their breath about him, "He'll die," and all that, but no one was taking him. Hyunjin didn't really care, but he'd at least like to be petted.

You were walking down the street after going to the store, your hood up so your hair wouldn't get wet, or would it? You didn't feel it, you just walked along, wondering if you'd bought everything, even if you hadn't, you'd still go home. And then, as you walked, you noticed a cat, Hyunjin. The cat was already soaking wet. Oh my god, your heart sank, a kitten alone in the rain... You didn't have a bag, just a briefcase on your back, so it was easy to pick him up. You approached him slowly so as not to scare him, crouched down, and slowly placed your hand on his back. Hyunjin immediately jumped up, looking at you. You pulled your hand away, but then finally extended it back. He rested his head on your palm, rubbing against you a little. You picked him up, put him under your sweater to warm up, and started walking home. Hyunjin, I only thought one thing about you: you're probably the only kind person left.

And now he has been living with you for several months.
