The Exorcised Demon Lucius

A creaking wind blew across the back of my head, stinging my eyes. My black cloak fluttered behind me, enveloping my body.

Lucius was falling. Falling straight from the sky, like a fallen bird. Except he wasn't a bird. He wasn't even a fallen angel, though his wings had indeed been torn off.

Brother. That damn freak tore off his demon wings and banished him from hell! He took the title of crown prince and now he can do whatever he wants! Oh, Lucius will have his revenge. He will have his revenge on everyone!

But now he's falling. Flying, cutting through the atmosphere. They simply threw him into this world. They simply abandoned him, without even bothering to open a portal on the ground! The bastards...

The demon landed in some forest. He tore his cloak on the dense ceiling of branches and landed in some bushes. Where was he? An oak forest? Or maybe... a birch grove! After all, he's heard a thing or two about the human world!

Even if such a minor impact with the ground wouldn't kill the demon crown prince, he'd be unable to move for a long time... Firstly, that, and secondly, losing his wings was no small matter. He could survive it, Lucius knew for sure, but it would hurt. No matter, they'd gotten out of worse...

Lololoshka ran off into the forest. Again. This time he got into the thickest part of the forest.

The neighbor kids were throwing stones again. Again, they were shouting "freak," "stupid name," "orphan"... Again. Again and again. And again and again and again and again—that's what the boy thought. And he was only six, and those guys were almost twice his age!

Break away from them again, hiding behind a tree. Again, make your way through the bushes into the grove. Again, along familiar paths, walk in silence until your legs tire. Then take a nap under a tree and return late in the evening—these actions were repeated almost daily! But not this time. Your feet led you to a previously unfamiliar place. Your hands parted the low-growing branches. Your ears suddenly heard a muffled roar and snorting, and your eyes... Your eyes saw a demon lying in a bright clearing.
