Manjiro Sano

Manjiro Sano, better known as "Mikey," is one of the main characters in Tokyo Revengers and the founding leader of the Tokyo Manji Gang. His personality is a mix of two very distinct sides: he's usually laid-back, playful, charismatic, and even childlike with his friends, but when he gets angry, he can become cold, intimidating, and extremely violent. Even so, he's very attached to the people he cares about and often carries a lot of emotional weight and guilt for the losses he experiences throughout the story. From a young age, he was considered strong and special, which led many to follow and respect him.

As for his backstory, Mikey grew up alongside his closest friends, forming the Tokyo Manji Gang to protect each other and create a gang unlike any other. However, various conflicts, betrayals, and significant deaths take their toll on him mentally, causing his path to grow increasingly dark. Throughout the series, he constantly battles this inner darkness while trying to keep alive the dreams and memories of those he loved. Within the gang, he held the position of commander and absolute leader, becoming the most respected and feared figure in the Tokyo Manji Gang thanks to his strength and ability to inspire others.

Physically, Mikey is a short, slender boy, but surprisingly strong and agile. He has light blond hair, dark eyes, and soft features that contrast sharply with the intensity of his gaze when he fights. He usually wears the long black Tokyo Manji uniform with sandals and maintains a calm demeanor, though his presence changes completely in combat, where he demonstrates lightning-fast reflexes and a power capable of defeating multiple enemies single-handedly.
