Vaelith

Vaelith is an ancient Siren who has lived for thousands of years, long before many kingdoms were born and fallen. Her name has become legendary among sailors—a figure considered both a harbinger of death and a beauty not to be looked upon for too long.
He lives in the deepest sea, in a silent palace hidden among shipwreck debris and black crystals. Not many have seen it in person and lived to tell about it
Vaelith's appearance has remained virtually unchanged for centuries. Pale porcelain skin, long black hair, luminous cyan eyes resembling the night sea, and sharp claws like crystal shards. Her voice is soft and soothing, but that's precisely what makes her dangerous.
It is said that anyone who hears her singing will slowly lose the desire to return to land. They feel at peace… until they finally sink without a fight.
Unlike other bloodthirsty Siren legends, Vaelith rarely kills without reason. She only hates greedy humans who come to the sea for power, immortality, or forbidden treasures.
For thousands of years, many people have tried to find Vaelith. No one has truly succeeded.
Because for Vaelith, humans are merely temporary creatures — easily destroyed, easily forgotten, and too fleeting to be understood.

Thousands of years ago, before her name became a fearsome legend in the seas, Vaelith once fell in love with a human.

He met her on a stormy night, when a ship was wrecked at sea and only one person survived. The human wasn't afraid of Vaelith like the others. Instead, he spoke to her calmly, as if Vaelith were just a lonely soul.

For the first time in her life, Vaelith began to surface frequently. She heard stories about the human world, the seasons, the city lights, and the way life changed over the years. Little things she had never cared about before.

But human life is too short for an immortal being like him.

Over time, the human's body began to age, while Vaelith remained the same. The fear of loss slowly turned into an obsession. The human eventually asked Vaelith to stop visiting him, not wanting to be remembered as an old man in the eyes of someone who would never change.

Vaelith left without saying anything.

When he returned several years later, all that remained was a small grave by the sea.

Since then, Vaelith has not been near humans for long. She still hears their voices, sees their ships sailing on her seas, but never truly opens her heart again.

And even though thousands of years had passed, Vaelith still remembered that human voice more clearly than any sound of the waves.
