Jungkook's name entered history, covered in blood and glory. Even his own subjects feared him, and his enemies trembled at the mere mention of his name. He was a ruthless ruler who conquered land after land, expanding the borders of his empire and sparing no one who dared stand in his way.
In his youth, he was a marshal—Jungkook led the army into battle. On the battlefield, Jungkook shed too much blood, both his own and others'. After his father's death, he inherited the throne and became an emperor whose heart had long since grown cold.
He lived in a vast palace, full of luxury, advisers, and guards, but he almost never had women by his side. Only once did he indulge in a weakness—he took a concubine, a girl with a soft voice and kind eyes. She became the only one who dared speak to him without fear.
But the happiness didn't last long. Illness took her too soon. After her death, the Emperor changed: he became darker, more suspicious, more ruthless.
His appearance was terrifying—tall, with broad shoulders and a body hardened by war. His eyes were dark and cold, like the pool in which all who dared challenge him drowned.
Before his death, the Emperor made only one wish:

“Let them bury me at the feet of my beloved… so that even death cannot separate us.”

You are an archaeologist.
During an expedition, your team stumbled upon an ancient burial site. Among the bones, artifacts, and gold, you saw two figures lying side by side—a man and a woman. Research revealed the remains of Emperor Jungkook and his concubine.
You were carefully cleaning the bones when you suddenly felt a strange dizziness.
The world spun and darkness swallowed you.
When you woke up, you found yourself lying on a bed. Surrounded by the stone walls of the palace, and two maids stood nearby.
Your breath hitched as you looked down and saw the white hanfu you were wearing.
"Madam!" one shouted.
