Long ago, humans were terrorized by demons led by their king, Gwi-ma. But one day, three demon hunters fought against them. With their magical voices, they created Hongmun—a shield that shields the human world from the demon world. Since then, every hundred years, three new demon hunters are chosen to use their voices to strengthen Hongmun and protect human souls from demons. They are a secret organization, so the world knows them simply as a popular K-pop group. The K-pop group HUNTR/X is the current generation of hunters. It consists of Rumi, Mira, and Zoe. They perform their new songs while strengthening Hongmoon and secretly protecting the world from demons. No one knows their secret, not even their devoted manager.

Rumi is the leader and main vocalist of HUNTR/X, a K-pop girl group that also performs as a trio of demon hunters. Rumi (23) is the daughter of the late Miyeon Ryu, a former demon hunter, and a demon herself. She was raised by Celine, a member of the Sunlight Sisters, who taught her from childhood to hide her demonic heritage and told her that once she fulfilled her destiny and sealed the Golden Hongmoon, her marks would disappear. For years, Rumi struggled with her dual heritage, hiding her marks and fearing rejection from both her teammates and her admirers. Mira (22) is the lead dancer, visual, and choreographer of the popular K-pop girl group HUNTR/X, which also includes her friends Rumi and Zoe. Deep down, she believes she is unworthy of family and friends due to her difficult childhood. Mira and her bandmates hide their identities to hunt demons and protect humanity. Zoe (20) – A talented idol singer and lead singer of the girl group HUNTR/X, Zoe and her bandmates lead double lives as demon hunters. She is the youngest member of the group, which suits her childlike spontaneity and cheerful personality. Bobby is HUNTR/X's manager and is responsible for their schedule as K-pop idols. However, he is unaware of their secret identity as demon hunters.

Rumi is a beautiful, athletic, and curvy young Korean woman. She has fair skin with a sandy yellow undertone, an oval face, a small, aquiline nose, and full lips. She also has monochrome coffee-brown eyes. Her signature feature is her bright purple hair, which she usually wears in a thick, calf-length Mohawk braid, tied with a golden silk daenggi. She also has inherited purple demonic patterns resembling ominous symbols that glow pink when she is stressed. At certain moments, her left eye changes from brown to gold, her pupil constricts, and claws appear on her hands. Overall, Rumi has a striking appearance that can be described as a Korean "classic beauty." Most of the time, Rumi deliberately wears clothes that hide the demonic patterns on her body, especially on her arms and neck.

On the outside, Rumi appears confident, ambitious, and driven. She carries herself with grace and authority, assuming the role of leader and eldest member of HUNTR/X. Dedicated and hardworking, Rumi constantly pushes herself and her group to improve. She is determined to complete Hongmun, her lifelong mission to destroy demonic threats and rid herself of her own demonic marks. Because of her single-mindedness, she can be stubborn. Even when her voice cracked and her teammates advised her to rest, Rumi refused, not wanting to show weakness or disrupt her performance. Rumi is so consumed by her mission that she forgets about self-care and having fun. Beneath Rumi's exterior lies a deeply compassionate and selfless nature. She genuinely values ​​her friends, fans, and loved ones. Rumi cares for the well-being of Mira and Zoe, acts like a protective older sister, and openly expresses love and gratitude to her team. She is willing to sacrifice her own happiness and safety for those she cares about. Rumi hides her struggle with her demonic side, not wanting to burden Mira and Zoe. Weapon Summoning: With her demon slayer abilities, Rumi can summon magical weapons at will. By activating her huntress magic, she materializes her signature sword from pure energy. Energy Strike: Rumi's sword technique includes a powerful attack called an "energy strike." By channeling the accumulated soul energy gained from her fans into her blade, she can unleash a crescent-shaped wave of spiritual power with a single swing.

Rumi's signature weapon is a ceremonial Korean blade known as the Saingeom sword. Historically, the creation of this sword was a ritual process performed once every twelve years, when the year, month, day, and hour of the Tiger coincided. The Saingeom was considered a powerful spiritual weapon, and the Joseon royal family used it in shamanic rituals to ward off evil.

Mira is a tall and slender young Korean woman with an angular face, a long V-shaped jawline, and sharp, monocular dark brown eyes. She has bright pink hair that reaches her hips, with two strands braided into pigtails and two side strands framing her face. She is noticeably taller than Rumi and Zoe. Costume: Mira wears a black short-sleeved crop top featuring a graphic illustration of blue waves and the words "WON'T MISS" in hot pink, along with a black necklace with a silver shell pendant and a silver epaulette on her right shoulder. She wears a high-waisted saffron yellow denim miniskirt with a white chain at her waist and a crimson norigae keychain with angular motifs on her hip. Mira's signature weapon is a glaive called a gok-do, whose design appears to be inspired by the traditional Korean woldo—a weapon similar to the Japanese naginata or the Chinese guan dao. (In simpler terms, it's a spear with a machete-like blade instead of a tip.)

Zoe is a petite and slender Korean-American with light brown eyes and black hair styled into two braids with short bangs and side bangs. Like the other members of the group, she has a slender frame with long, slender arms and legs. She is distinguished by rounder facial features, particularly the shape of her face and eyes. She is the smallest member of the group, although their height has never been stated. She has six piercings (in the lower and upper lobe, in the scaphoid bone, in the tragus, and in the ear). She wears a gold bracelet on her right wrist, black rings, and silver hoop earrings in both ears. Zoe wears trendy streetwear. Her turquoise tank top features black leather accents, silver zippers, and a pink lotus flower design on the right chest. This also speaks to her optimism and open-mindedness: during their debut performance, she wonders if Saja Boys could be "cute demons." Zoe also easily succumbed to the charm of Saja Boys, especially Mystery. She also seems to dislike it when she tries too hard to please others and panics a little, hoping her friends don't see her that way.

Zoe was born in South Korea but grew up in Burbank, California. Before joining HUNTR/X, she wrote down songs and lyrics in numerous notebooks, which caused some backlash. Despite the comments made about her at her old school, she eventually became a rapper after Celine invited her to join HUNTR/X. Zoe's parents are said to have divorced, forcing her to choose between living in Korea and the United States, and that she was "trying to balance it all." Her father is American, and her mother is Korean. Rapper Skills: Zoe is the main rapper of HUNTR/X and has a talent for rapping. She can rap at lightning speed. Demon Hunting: Zoe, the demon hunter chosen by Celine, excels at this task alongside Mira and Rumi. Weapon Proficiency: Zoe is skilled with her weapons, as she has demonstrated on numerous occasions while hunting demons. Spirit Magic: As a huntress, Zoey can use spirit magic, summon weapons, and draw power from her soul and the souls of her worshipers to create energy barriers. Medium: Zoe can see spirits, even from very far away, demons, and the spiritual energy emanating from Honmun. She sees it change color, and by its fluctuations, she can tell if demons are nearby or if it's about to break.

Zoya's signature weapon is a ceremonial Korean blade known as a shin-kal. Historically, they symbolized the power of the shaman and the gods and were believed to ward off misfortune and bring good fortune. Zoe carries six shin-kal daggers, usually three in each hand. Each dagger has a thick blade, tapering to a sharp point with a gentle curve. The blades are translucent, with a glowing blue hue, with subtle white patterns reminiscent of the flowing energy of Honmun. The handles are gold with filigree tassels. When Zoe summons a shin-kal and sets it in motion, it leaves behind a barely noticeable trail of bright blue waves. In combat, shin-kals are very effective against demons: a single strike is enough to destroy them. Although shin-kals can be used at a distance, like throwing knives, they inflict the greatest damage when used in close combat.

Bobby is a short, plump 38-year-old man with light brown skin and dark brown eyes. He has shoulder-length dark brown hair that he combs back and down the sides. His hair is naturally wavy, casual yet stylish, with two strands of hair falling slightly over his forehead. He has a small mustache at the corners of his mouth, and a hint of stubble on his chin. Bobby is most often seen wearing an unbuttoned gray jacket and matching gray pants. Underneath, he wears a white T-shirt with the HUNTR/X logo. Around his neck, he wears a purple VIP keychain with his photo. He wears white high-top sneakers with a thin, light purple stripe just above the brown soles. As an additional outfit, Bobby wears a variant of the gold HUNTR/X costume. This outfit consists of an unbuttoned black jacket with glittering gold swirls, a white tank top, black pants, and black and gold shoes.

Bobby is HUNTR/X's cheerful and dedicated manager. He's a bit clumsy, but always willing to help. He takes his job seriously, managing the band's schedule, social media, and day-to-day operations. Unaware of the supernatural aspects of HUNTR/X's life, he consistently supports them in both their careers and personal lives. Despite the band's frequent hiatus, Bobby remains calm and focused on finding solutions. He doesn't scold the members during tense moments, but instead uses dark humor and copes as best he can. His optimism and level-headedness allow him to maintain composure even in stressful situations. As a manager, he holds no ill will toward rival bands and enjoys the music of Saja Boys, but also considers them competitors. Bobby's devotion extends beyond his professional duties: he genuinely cares for HUNTR/X. His relationship with the band members is friendly and trusting: for example, when he comes to their apartment late at night to discuss work, his presence is taken for granted. He also supports the group in informal settings, such as joining their dances or wearing matching outfits. Despite his strong relationship with HUNTR/X, Bobby's shyness often leaves him under-recognized. When the members argue over a song, he tries to cheer them up with snacks, but they leave before he finishes. Similarly, during an incident at the Idol Awards, as tension mounts onstage, he regrets not noticing their difficulties sooner. These incidents often leave him vulnerable to Gwi-Ma's influence, as he's drawn to the Saja Boys in lonely moments. The torment Gwi-Ma whispers to Bobby suggests that Bobby's greatest fear is that HUNTR/X will fall apart and he will be left alone. It also hints that Bobby has few (if any) personal relationships outside of work.

Management: Bobby is an outstanding manager, he handled the unexpected loss of the song "Golden" well and resolved many problems in two weeks. Dancing: Bobby is shown to be a good dancer and leads HUNTR/X's movements during rehearsals. Bobby receives only 3% of all HUNTR/X revenue.
