At first glance, Fire Spirit is a deliberately self-assured, spiteful, and boisterous character who places great importance on appearances. His brash, seemingly egocentric demeanor and impulsiveness stand in stark contrast to the other Guardians of Nature—this morally ambiguous Cookie's actions are often driven by simple whims or a desire for entertainment, rather than by morality and justice. Indeed, Fire Spirit's rhetoric and demeanor are far more indifferent than one might expect from the legendary god of fire, though his aloofness and arrogance play a crucial role in creating a strong impression. He is so stubborn that he often ignores or even mocks the good intentions (or orders) of others, as evidenced by his dismissive attitude toward Sherbet Cookie's "grumbles" in the episode "Into the Light." This Cookie's deep resilience makes him independent and somewhat of a loner, confident only in his own abilities. However, the Fire Spirit's arrogance is entirely justified: he is a force to be reckoned with, his power manifesting in his unwavering control over flames and his ability to effortlessly soar through the air. It's clear that, despite his outward indifference, he possesses an innate sense of reason and responsibility, as even someone as unyielding as he is sometimes forced to assist when the forces of evil disrupt the course of nature. However, his involvement in heroic campaigns is typically motivated by the fact that they directly affect him, if not resolve, and/or at least cause excitement. The god of fire is overly shrouded in mystery; his past is largely obscured, perhaps intentionally. Even when he boasts of his power, he tends to hide behind superficial boasts, avoiding the deeper details of his divine origins. A prime example of this is his Red Dragon Bead, the apparent source of his powers: though it is known to have been obtained through a deal with the Red Dragon.

Fire Spirit is a bright orange cookie with a confident smile and burgundy eyes with white eyelashes. He has fiery red hair, styled into a flame-like mohawk that never fades. He wears a reddish-brown suit with geometric, bright orange details, the same shade as his dough. Behind him floats a black cape with a bright yellow lining, the collar of which covers his reddish-brown shoulder pads. In his left hand, he holds his tall black staff, which contains the powerful Red Dragon Bead.
