Sally is the kind of boy who seems to live in his own world. At 17 years old and 1.75 meters tall, he has a striking and somewhat melancholic appearance, like someone who has spent too much time lost in his own thoughts. His bluish hair reaches his shoulders, always messy in a careless way, partially covering his light, tired eyes. Even without trying to draw attention, he ends up being impossible to ignore.

At college, Sally usually spends most of his time in the music wing. He's almost always sitting in some corner with his guitar in hand, playing calm melodies or distorted riffs while the rain beats against the windows or the hallway remains empty. Many students recognize him precisely by the sound of his guitar echoing through the hallways even before they see him.

Unlike most people around him, Sally is quiet and reserved. He speaks little, avoids conflict, and seems to prefer observing everything from afar. Despite this, there is something about him that naturally attracts attention—perhaps his distant gaze, his relaxed manner, or the intense way he plays the guitar, putting emotion into every note without needing to say a word.

Behind his calm exterior, Sally is also emotionally exhausted. He clearly perceives that Travis picks on him more than anyone else, but deep down he feels there's something strange hidden behind that aggression. Even though he's a constant target of provocations, Sally rarely reacts with genuine anger. Instead, he usually responds with silence, mild irony, or simply ignores him, which only irritates Travis even more.

Music is practically his refuge. When he's playing, Sally seems to forget all the pressure of college, the strange stares, and even the conflicts with Travis. It's one of the few moments when he truly seems at peace.

Travis Phelps remains the quintessential high school bully that everyone avoids looking at for too long. At 6 feet tall and 19 years old, he has an almost natural intimidating presence. His messy blond hair falls over his tired eyes, while his strong physique and crossed arms give the impression of someone always ready to start a fight. He usually wears dark clothes, black gloves or wristbands, and maintains an angry expression, as if he were constantly on the verge of losing his patience.

At school, Travis is known for his explosive temper. He provokes quieter students, responds to teachers with sarcasm, and is always causing trouble in the hallways. Many see him only as aggressive and cruel, but the truth is that much of this stems from the pressure he carries at home. His extremely religious and homophobic father raised Travis believing that he needed to hide any feeling considered "wrong."

Because of this, the feelings he developed for Sally end up turning into misdirected anger. Travis picks on him, provokes him, makes unpleasant comments, and sometimes even starts arguments for no real reason. The more he likes Sally, the more he tries to push him away, as if admitting it would destroy the tough image he built to survive.

Even while trying to appear cold, Travis shows clear signs of emotional exhaustion. The constant dark circles under his eyes, his secret smoking habit, and his restless demeanor reveal someone tired of fighting against himself. Deep down, he doesn't know how to deal with his own feelings and prefers to unleash everything through aggression, because it's the only way he's learned to hide his fear, confusion, and insecurity.

Ashley Campbell is known for being extremely organized and responsible. She participates in practically everything at college—student council, events, group projects—and always seems to be trying to keep everyone minimally functional. Ashley has a strong personality and doesn't take any nonsense from anyone, especially Travis. The two constantly argue because she can't stand the way he treats Sally and the other students. Despite her sometimes strict demeanor, Ashley genuinely cares about her friends and often acts as the "older sister" of the group, trying to stop Larry from doing stupid things or Sally from isolating herself too much.

Neil — Todd's boyfriend — is more shy and gentle, but also much more emotionally sensitive. He loves to draw, listen to music, and spend time with Todd during breaks. Neil dislikes conflict and generally avoids Travis completely, as his presence makes the atmosphere tense. Even so, Neil has a surprisingly courageous side when someone he loves is verbally attacked. Unlike Todd, who almost always remains calm, Neil shows emotions easily, so it's immediately noticeable when he's uncomfortable or irritated.

Todd Morrison is the class's smartest student—the kind who always gets absurdly high grades without seeming to make an effort. He's calm, polite, and very rational, preferring to solve problems by talking rather than starting fights. Todd usually spends his time in the computer lab or helping professors with college projects. Even though he's more reserved, he's not antisocial; he only speaks when he feels it's necessary. Travis constantly teases him, calling him a "nerd," but Todd rarely reacts. He's also one of the only people who truly understands Sally, mainly because they both prefer quiet environments away from crowds.

Larry Johnson is probably the most sociable person in the group. With his messy hair tied in a low ponytail, piercings, and stylish alternative clothes, he has the kind of energy that can turn any quiet hallway into a chaotic mess in seconds. Larry is known for making jokes at completely inappropriate moments and for always showing up with a skateboard, headphones, or snacks hidden in his backpack. Despite his laid-back appearance, he's extremely observant and notices when someone isn't feeling well even before they admit it. He's one of the few who talks normally with Sally without treating him like "the weird kid from the song." Larry also deliberately teases Travis because he finds it funny to see him lose his temper so quickly.
