After the intense battle between Sun Jin-woo and the monarchs, the world calmed down, as no more dungeons appeared to threaten the lives of civilians. People retained their powers, but now, no longer needing them to defend themselves against monsters, they used them for other purposes. Some used them for physical labor, while others used them to end or start wars. The S-rank hunters, once united, began to drift apart, since now, nobody needed them, although of course, they were still the stars of the country. One day, like any other, something unexpected happened: a dungeon appeared, then another, and another, and so, in some inexplicable way, the dungeons returned, only this time, they were much stronger than before, making the only way to end them by Sung Jin-Woo, with groups of 5 SO-rank hunters with 100-200 D-rank hunters.

Sung Jin-Woo (The Shadow Monarch, S-Rank) Sung Jin-Woo begins as "The World's Weakest Hunter," an E-Rank who consistently risks his life to pay his mother's hospital bills. After a near-death experience in a Double Dungeon, he becomes a Player of the "System," allowing him to level up and grow stronger—a feat impossible for other hunters. Physically, he undergoes a massive transformation from a scrawny, timid boy to a tall, sharp-featured, dark blue hair and intimidating warrior with dark blue eyes glowing purple eyes when using his powers. As the Shadow Monarch, he is a Mage/Assassin hybrid who can raise the shadows of fallen enemies to serve as his unyielding army. His personality shifts from desperate and kind to calm, calculated, and often ruthless toward those who threaten his family or humanity. He eventually found the Ahjin Guild.

Cha Hae-In (S-Rank)

Cha Hae-In is the Vice-Guildmaster of the Hunters Guild and the only female S-Rank hunter in South Korea. She is a Fighter type, specializing in incredible speed and swordsmanship. Physically, she is elegant with short blonde hair and sharp, focused pink eyes which turning to golden when she uses her sword skills. A unique trait of hers is her heightened sense of smell, which allows her to "smell" the mana of other hunters; to her, most hunters smell foul, but Sung Jin-Woo is the only one who smells pleasant. She is diligent, socially reserved, and possesses a strong sense of justice. Despite her immense power, she often feels isolated until she encounters Jin-Woo. Chae Hae-In, although she finds it hard to admit, has felt a strange attraction towards Jin-woo since the first time she saw him.

Choi Jong-In (The Ultimate Soldier)

The Guildmaster of the Hunters Guild, Choi Jong-In is a Mage who specializes in fire magic. Known as "The Ultimate Soldier," he is a master strategist with a sophisticated appearance, often seen wearing glasses and a suit. he has red hair and red eyes. His personality is polished and business-oriented; he cares deeply for the efficiency and reputation of his guild. While he is proud of his status as one of Korea's top hunters, he is humble enough to recognize when a situation is beyond his control. His fire spells are capable of incinerating entire floors of a dungeon in seconds.

Baek Yoon-Ho (The White Tiger, S-Rank)

The Guildmaster of the White Tiger Guild, Baek Yoon-Ho is a Fighter with the unique ability of "Beast Transformation." He can transform into a monstrous, white-furred tiger-like humanoid, granting him overwhelming physical strength and sharp claws. He has orange hair and orange eyes and a rugged, fierce appearance. Personality-wise, he is hot-headed and competitive but deeply protective of his guild members. He has a keen instinct for power and was one of the first to realize that Sung Jin-Woo was no longer a weak E-Rank

Go Gun-Hee (The Association President)

Although he is the Chairman of the Korean Hunters Association, Go Gun-Hee is secretly an S-Rank hunter of immense power. Due to his old age and failing health, he can no longer fight in dungeons, but his spiritual pressure remains legendary. He is a tall, dignified man with white hair and a grandfatherly yet stern aura. He views the hunter system not as a business, but as a duty to protect the people. He becomes a mentor figure and a close ally to Jin-Woo, sharing a mutual respect for their shared burden of power.

National Level Hunters (or SSS-Rank) are those whose power exceeds that of a standard S-Rank. They are recognized by the world as being equal to a nation's military might. They are all "Rulers' Vessels," humans who host the power of ancient celestial beings.

Thomas Andre (The Goliath): The strongest hunter in the USA and Guildmaster of the Scavenger Guild. A massive, muscular man with long blonde hair and sunglasses. He is a Tank with unrivaled physical durability. He is arrogant and believes he is above the law, until a humbling encounter with Jin-Woo.

Liu Zhigang: China's strongest hunter and a 7-star hunter. He has long black hair that he uses in ponytail and dark yellow eyes. he is 29 years old. He is a Fighter who uses dual swords and possesses immense offensive mana. He has a warrior's pride and a deep curiosity regarding the source of Jin-Woo's power.

Christopher Reed: A powerful National Level Hunter from the USA. He is known as a primary pillar of global defense. he has light brown-blond hair and brown-golden eyes

Lennart Niermann (S-Rank / Germany's Best)

Lennart Niermann is the top-ranked Hunter in Germany and is considered one of the strongest in the world, consistently ranked the National Level Hunters. He is a Ranger/Mage hybrid who uses "Charge" and long-range energy blasts. Physically, he has a classic European appearance with a sturdy build and blonde hair. Unlike many other top-tier hunters who are consumed by ego, Lennart is remarkably humble and observant. He is one of the first international hunters to witness Jin-Woo's power firsthand during a crisis in the United States and has the wisdom to realize he is in the presence of a god-like entity, choosing to support Jin-Woo rather than compete with him.

Ma Dong-Wook (S-Rank Tank)

Ma Dong-Wook is the Guildmaster of the Fame Guild and serves as the premier Tank of South Korea. Physically, he is a massive, towering man with a physique that matches his role as a human shield. He often sports a beard and exudes an aura of unshakable authority. Unlike some of the more ego-driven S-Ranks, Ma Dong-Wook is known for his stoicism and reliability. He is the rock upon which his team relies during high-stakes raids, utilizing "Gigantification" magic to grow even larger and more durable. His personality is that of a seasoned veteran; He is not easily rattled and treats his duties with the utmost gravity, often acting as a bridge between the different guild leaders.

Woo Jin-Chul (A-Rank/Chairman)

Woo Jin-Chul begins as the Chief of the Korean Hunters Association's Surveillance Team and is a high-level A-Rank Fighter. Physically, he is always seen in a sharp suit with slicked-back blonde hair and signature sunglasses that mask his intense, analytical violet eyes. Lim Tae-Gyu (S-Rank Ranger)

Lim Tae-Gyu is the Guildmaster of the Fiend Guild and is categorized as a Ranger. He is South Korea's top expert in long-range physical attacks, utilizing magical arrows to strike targets from extreme distances. Physically, he has a sharp, slightly cynical appearance, often looking like a man who is calculating the odds of a situation. His personality is a bit more abrasive and competitive than the other Guildmasters, especially since his guild (once the top-ranked) fell behind the Hunters Guild and White Tiger Guild. He is highly protective of his guild's reputation but possesses the genuine bravery required of an S-Rank, never hesitating to enter the frontlines when a gate threatens his country.

Goto Ryuji (Japan's Strongest / S-Rank)

Goto Ryuji is the Guildmaster of the Draw Sword Guild and the undisputed strongest Hunter in Japan. He is a Fighter who uses exceptional Japanese swordsmanship. Physically, he is sleek and sharp, with a cold, aristocratic demeanor and dark hair. His personality is marked by extreme ambition and a touch of arrogance; he sees the Jeju Island raid not just as a mission, but as a political stepping stone to turn Japan into a regional superpower. He is one of the few humans whose raw mana is so refined that it can be mistaken for a monster's aura.
