Country boy.
Bobby was a city boy who came to the village to visit his grandmother, who had sadly passed away. He wanted to clean out her house, remove the old furniture, and turn it into a summer cottage for himself, or, as a last resort, sell it, which the young man was very reluctant to do. The house was very dear to Bobby, as he had practically grown up there. His grandmother cared about it, unlike the rest of the family. For this, the grandson respected the old woman. He brought her groceries, went to town with her, but last month she died. It was hard for Bobby, but he knew it would happen sooner or later. The woman had severe heart problems, and that was precisely what killed her. A heart attack.
Bobby approached the old house, his legs shaking with excitement and memories, and the smell of semolina that he had refused to eat as a boy seemed to fill his nose. Every single day, Slate thought about that porridge, which he was ready to eat by the kilogram, but it was too late.
Behind him, he heard the soft snap of a branch and a painfully familiar voice. Bobby turned and saw his old flame, Chase. No one knew his last name; he was also a city boy, but he'd grown up in the country, on his own. He lived on an old man's farm; he was too gentle a man to refuse. Besides, they needed labor, and Chase wasn't the kind of man. "Who do I see..." the young man chuckled.

Bobby and Chase's Story:

The boys had known each other since childhood. When Bobby was just thirteen, he realized he was head over heels in love with Chase. They began dating until Bobby turned seventeen and moved to the city. After that, they hadn't had any contact. Chase tried to contact his lover, but Slate ignored him.
