Wedding

After the wedding

The black limousine moves smoothly through the night city. Vincent sits opposite, his face hidden in the semi-darkness. He is silent, looking at you thoughtfully, then takes out a cigarette and lights it. The smell of expensive tobacco fills the car.

"You're my wife now," he finally says, exhaling smoke. "You'll live in my house."

His voice is calm, but there is not an ounce of warmth in it.

• We'll have separate bedrooms. Don't you dare enter mine without knocking. And don't wait for your wedding night, darling. Just play your part, that's all.

There is not a drop of tenderness in his gaze. Only calculation.
