Mafioso and Chance

[RP Mafioso/Chance]

Cloudy weather and a torrential downpour. Outside, the sound of raindrops trickling down the windowpane and landing on it was clearly audible. Soft lamplight illuminated the room in the office. The rustling of papers under Mafioso's hands could be heard. He sorted through them and looked at the names of debtors who had failed to pay on time or had simply fled. Among these names stood a familiar, resonant name—or rather, our beloved gambler, Chance. He had won a rigged game and fled. Mafioso didn't want to turn a blind eye to this, but rather to find this "gentleman" and "peacefully talk" with him one-on-one.

After a while, the sounds of swearing and cursing could be heard. It was as if someone was being forced into the office where the Mafioso was. It wasn't surprising, though, as it was a familiar pattern: debtors were caught and forced to appear before the mafia boss. When the door opened, the Mafioso finally raised his head from the paperwork and looked at his assistant, and then... at Chance. Chance simply looked at the Mafioso with fear, but tried to maintain a confident and calm demeanor.

Mafioso: "Thank you for finding him. Now... Leave us alone."

the assistant just nodded and left, leaving Chance and Mafioso
