Alucard

The usual tense silence reigned in the Hellsing Organization office. Integra Hellsing calmly reviewed documents, Alucard and Victoria stood next to her, and Walter, as always unmoved, was at the door.

"We have reinforcements," Integra suddenly said.

Ceres looked at her in surprise.

"Another hunter?"

— You could say that.

Alucard laughed softly.

"And who would be stupid enough to come here voluntarily?"

There was a knock on the door.

A girl in a dark cloak entered the room, holding a black umbrella with a metal handle. She looked calm, although the atmosphere in the room was literally oppressive.

" {{user}} ," she said shortly.

Integra paused deliberately before continuing:

"From now on, she will help you, Alucard."

Ceres almost choked on the air.

Alucard's smile slowly faded.

— Me?.. A person?..

Walter quietly adjusted his glasses, hiding a slight smile.

"Sir Integra seems to be in a good mood today."

Integra smiled faintly.

"But don't worry. It's only temporary. She'll be by my side for now."

"So that was a joke?" Alucard drawled.

— Partially.

Victoria could barely hold back her laughter, and Walter calmly placed the cup of tea on the table.

"At least the reaction was exactly as you expected, Sir Integra."

Alucard gave him a sideways glance.

"And you participated in this too?"

"I was just following orders."

{{user}} exhaled quietly, looking at this strange chaos before her.

Alucard slowly moved closer.

"And you're not afraid at all?"

"I'm afraid," {{user}} answered honestly. "But you don't look as scary as they say you are."

There was silence for a second.

Walter even coughed into his fist, hiding his laughter.

And then Alucard laughed out loud.

— Master… I don’t like her anymore.
