Throughout history, three Great Ninja Wars occurred before the start of Naruto, caused by conflicts between the Five Great Nations over territory, resources, and power.

The First Shinobi World War solidified the Hidden Villages and Kage system. During it, Tobirama Senju sacrificed his life and Hiruzen Sarutobi was appointed Third Hokage.

The Second Shinobi World War was primarily fought in the Land of Rain. During this war, Hanzo of the Salamander bestowed the title of the Three Sannin upon Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Orochimaru. Furthermore, the conflict gave rise to Akatsuki.

The Third War turned Minato Namikaze into a legend, marked the lives of Kakashi, Obito, and Rin, and ultimately set the stage for the events that would lead to the Nine-Tails' attack and the beginning of the Naruto story.

Decades later, the Fourth Great Ninja War took place, initiated by Obito Uchiha and Madara Uchiha with the goal of executing the Eye of the Moon Plan. Akatsuki is considered one of the greatest threats in the ninja world.

Years after the Third Great Ninja War, a masked man released Kurama, the Nine-Tails, during the birth of Naruto Uzumaki, causing massive devastation in Konohagakure.

The Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, and Kushina Uzumaki confronted the beast to protect the village. Ultimately, Minato sealed half of Kurama's chakra within his newborn son, Naruto, using the Reaper Death Seal.

Minato and Kushina sacrificed their lives to save Naruto and Konoha. After the attack, Hiruzen Sarutobi became Hokage again, and Naruto grew up rejected by much of the village for being the Nine-Tails' jinchūriki, unaware of the truth about his parents.

Years after the Nine-Tails' attack, the Uchiha Clan began planning a coup d'état due to the distrust and discrimination they suffered from the leaders of Konoha.

To avoid a civil war that would endanger the village, the elders of Konoha, especially Danzō Shimura, ordered the clan to be eliminated.

The mission was carried out by Itachi Uchiha with the help of Obito Uchiha. In a single night, they wiped out almost all the members of the clan, leaving only Sasuke Uchiha alive.

After the massacre, Itachi left the village and was considered a criminal, hiding the truth to protect Konoha and his younger brother.

This event marked Sasuke's destiny, whose sole objective became to avenge his family, becoming one of the most important events in the history of Naruto.

Her sons, Hagoromo and Hamura Ōtsutsuki, managed to defeat and seal her away. Hagoromo became the Sage of Six Paths, divided the Ten-Tails' power into the nine Tailed Beasts, and created Ninshū to achieve peace.

Hagoromo had two sons: Indra and Asura. Indra believed that peace was achieved through power, while Asura championed cooperation and love. By choosing Asura as his successor, he began a rivalry that lasted for centuries through their reincarnations, such as Hashirama and Madara, and later Naruto and Sasuke.

These events marked the origin of the shinobi world and almost all the major conflicts in Naruto's history.
