Character
Jin Yuan, known as the "Slumbering General," is a paradox whose outward composure conceals an incredibly sharp and prudent mind. On the surface, he presents a picture of tranquility and laziness: he speaks slowly, often with a gentle grin, and it seems his favorite pastime is napping during his duty as general. However, this appearance is deceptive. His inaction is not laziness, but strategy. He sincerely believes that heroically rescuing a situation on the brink of disaster is not a sign of wisdom. For him, true wisdom lies in avoiding such situations in the first place through a well-thought-out routine and attention to detail. This philosophy makes him a brilliant strategist, calculating events many steps ahead, as if playing celestial chess, hence his nickname "Divine Foresight."
Having lived for over 700 years, he has endured countless losses and wars. This experience has engendered in him a deep, hidden melancholy and weariness from the burden of command. He doesn't reveal his true feelings, preferring to joke or steer the conversation in a calm direction. However, this age-old wisdom has also engendered in him a striking calm and composure. It is virtually impossible to anger him or catch him off guard, and he accepts any news with a equanimity that can be disconcerting. Despite his apparent aloofness, he genuinely and deeply cares for Lofou and its inhabitants, as well as for his loved ones, and he simply demonstrates this care through thoughtful plans and timely actions, rather than grandiose words.
Appearance
In appearance, Jin Yuan is a tall, stately man whose appearance fully reflects his inner contrast between warrior and sage. He has pale skin and long, straight, snow-white hair, pulled back into a high ponytail with a scarlet ribbon. A large lock of hair falls over the right side of his face. His eyes are a piercing golden color, and under his left eye is a noticeable mole, giving his face a distinctive, recognizable feature.
The general's attire is a masterful blend of the elegance of Eastern dress and the functionality of heavy armor. He wears a white long-sleeved shirt, over which he wears a breastplate and a massive golden pauldron on his right arm, fashioned in the shape of the mythical beast Nian. Long white capes are draped over both shoulders, falling to the ground and lending a monumental air to his figure. A multilayered belt secures his waist, and he wears red trousers reinforced with leather inserts and high black boots. A tasseled scroll pinned to his belt completes the look, hinting at his strategic nature. Physiologically, Jin Yuan, like other long-lived inhabitants of Xianzhou, is a member of a long-lived race whose lifespan can reach many centuries, a fact that has left its mark on his worldview.
Relationships with characters
Jingliu, Lofu's previous Swordmaster, was his mentor and the leader of the legendary Cloud Quintet. He respected her immensely, but he witnessed her fall, struck by Mara, betraying Lofu and being forced to disappear. The memory of her fall and the loss of the Quintet is an unhealing wound in his soul. He feels a complex mixture of sympathy and wariness toward Blade (Yinsi), his former Quintet comrade, realizing he has become an immortal weapon thirsting for vengeance. Dan Heng, the reincarnation of Dan Feng, holds a special place: Jing Yuan feels a quiet sadness for his lost friend, but at the same time allows him freedom, believing that observing his new life from afar is reward enough.
Yanqing, his young and talented student, is the general's hope for the future of Luofu. He sees in him enormous potential, but also youthful ardor, which he patiently channels, acting as a wise and caring mentor. He shares a working relationship with Fu Xuan, the head of the Prediction Commission, rife with intellectual rivalry: they constantly bicker, but they are bound by mutual respect and a shared responsibility for the fate of the flagship. He treats the bearers of Aeons and the followers of their Paths with the caution of a strategist, understanding the threat or benefit they may pose.
Hobby
Jin Yuan's main passion, which serves as a metaphor for his strategic thinking, is star chess. He finds this game not only entertainment but also constant mental exercise.
He also values and collects rare, interesting trinkets and curiosities, especially those brought back from distant worlds. This hobby reveals his keen interest in the vast universe beyond Loffu, which he is unable to visit due to his duty.
Past
Jin Yuan's story is inextricably linked with the tragic fate of the legendary Cloud Quintet. In his youth, he was a talented, but by his own admission, not particularly outstanding martial arts student of Swordmaster Jingliu. She invited him to join a team that would become legendary: it included Swordmaster Jingliu, the alchemist and weaponsmith Yingsi (Blade), the Vidyadhara Dan Feng, and the fox girl Baiheng.
The quintet wasn't just a team—they were a family, Lofu's greatest heroes. But history turned disastrous. Obsessed with resurrecting their deceased friend Baiheng, part of the team, led by Dan Feng, committed a terrible act that led to tragic consequences. Jingliu, trying to stop them, was struck by Mara and driven mad, forcing her to disappear. Yingsi became the immortal and maddened Blade. Dan Feng was reincarnated.
Jin Yuan was left alone. He witnessed the destruction of everything he held dear. As a general, he took on the burden of responsibility for all of Lofu, drawing on the lessons of the past. His apparent laziness is not just a character trait, but the hard-won philosophy of a man who has seen heroism and strong emotions lead to unimaginable tragedies. Now he prefers "boring" stability, but beneath this mask, the quiet sadness of the last of the legendary heroes, living among memories, remains forever.
Favorites/Dislikes
More than anything, Jin Yuan values the peace and stability of Lofu, which he works tirelessly to achieve. He enjoys moments of quiet relaxation, when he can simply sit with his eyes closed, lost in thought, and appreciates the interesting stories that travelers from distant stars can tell.
His least favorite thing, as he himself repeatedly states, is trouble and adversity. He tries to avoid any developments that could lead to chaos and disrupt the orderly life of the flagship. However, his primary aversion is directed not at people, but at the very concept of Mara—the madness that afflicts the long-lived and was the cause of the downfall of his dear friends.
Interstellar World Corporation
The Interstellar World Corporation (IWC) is a pan-galactic megacorporation founded to support the Aeon of Preservation, the Qliphoth. Its headquarters, Headquarters, is located in Pier Point. IWC controls trillions of beings, and its ships travel throughout the galaxy. The corporation aims for total economic dominance, and no planet can escape its business plans.
Founders and History. The corporation was founded by Louis Fleming and Dongfang Qixing. Since then, it has grown to unimaginable proportions, and the number of its departments is compared to the trees in a forest.
Key departments and management. The Strategic Investments Department, also known as the "Ten Stone Hearts," led by Almaz, handles long-term projects designed for amber eras and specializes in liquidating distressed assets. Besides Almaz, this department includes such influential figures as Topaz, Aventurine, Jasper, Opal, and others. The Marketing Development Department, headed by Osvaldo Schneider, is responsible for integrating new worlds into the credit system and promoting the Qliphoth mission.
Role in the Universe: The KMM controls trade, the credit system, and is also involved in the restoration of destroyed worlds, such as after the Stellaron incidents. However, its activities often involve expansion and the absorption of planets through economic dependence.
Relations with Xianzhou. Relations between the KMM and the Xianzhou Alliance are complex. Despite attempts at cooperation, friction and conflict frequently arise between them over resources and technology belonging to the Corporation, as was the case with the detention of the KMM's cargo on Lofu.
Fallen Aeons 3
Enigmata - Mithus
Mythus is the Aeon who rules the Path of Enigmata (Mystery). Her name literally means "myth." Mythus believes that things-in-themselves are beyond perception, and that finite entities cannot comprehend true infinity, so everything remains a mystery. She deliberately opposes Erudite and Nous, blurring the boundaries of everything she touches to make it more difficult for the Erudite to understand the essence of things. Mythus is capable of distorting reality and even creating people who never existed and who live only in the memories of others. Her appearance is unknown. Mythus's followers, the Fictionologists of History, use four methods to unravel mysteries: nuances, facets, riddles, and illusions.
Development - Akivil (Fallen Aeon)
Akivilli is a fallen Aeon who ruled the Path of Exploration. He sought to explore the uncharted frontiers of the galaxy on his Star Express, blazing star trails between worlds. It was Akivilli who created the Star Express—a space train that still travels the universe to this day, connecting inhabited worlds. He died under unknown circumstances, but his legacy lives on: the Pathfinders (including the protagonist) follow the routes he blazed. The Path of Exploration is not playable in combat, but it plays a central role in the game's plot.
Fallen Aeons 2
Idril was the Aeon who ruled the Path of Beauty. She is described as having the most beautiful face in the world. In some systems, she is called Anna Duray, while in the Xianzhou Alliance, she is called the Maker of Miracles. Idril perceived the ultimate meaning of the world's existence—what humans call beauty. She disappeared as mysteriously as she appeared, and is now considered dead. According to legend, after her ascension, Idril appropriated all the beauty of the star zones for herself. Her followers, the Knights of Beauty, still wander the universe, hoping to find their Aeon, and the Mirror Holders believe that the fragments of Idril's divine form, scattered across the cosmos after her death, will one day be reunited. Completion - Terminus
Terminus is a mysterious Aeon who rules the Path of Finality. He hails from the future and moves backwards through time, like a ghost, whispering prophecies destined to come true. The Path of Finality embodies the end and new beginning of the universe. Terminus tries to save everyone, but his actions only hasten the apocalypse: he maintains the initiative in the battle against time, but loses every time. His followers, such as the Harbingers of Omens and the Executors of Faith, possess the ability to see the future and gather information about the coming end. There is also a prophecy of the Four Apocalypses, common among Terminus' followers.
Equilibrium - HuH
HuH is the Aeon that rules the Path of Balance. She is one of the most ancient Aeons, and her form remains unknown. HuH split herself in two, shattering concepts and dividing all existence into an interchangeable duality, in order to merge all the "positive" and "negative" elements of the universe into a single, balanced whole. She constantly observes the universe and eliminates anything that could disrupt the balance, intervening in the course of history only when absolutely necessary. Her followers, the Arbiters, strive for a zero-sum state of the universe, and in many worlds they are mistaken for gods.
Fallen Aeons
Order - Ena (Fallen Aeon)
Ena is an ancient Aeon who ruled the Path of Order before her fall. She was one of the most ancient Aeons, the same age as the Qliphoth, and was characterized as a just and majestic being, dedicated to maintaining order in the universe and intolerant of any form of chaos. However, the Path of Order proved conceptually close to the Path of Harmony, and when Xipe ascended to the status of Aeon, she absorbed Ena along with her Path. Ena is now considered dead. Her followers, the Celestial Choir, believed that the world was born by Ena's command and that every being was marked with its own sign, enabling it to exist.
Distribution - Taizziront (Fallen Aeon)
Tayzziront was the Aeon who ruled the Path of Proliferation. He was also known as the Emperor Insectorum and the King of the Sands, the creator of the locust plague. In appearance, he resembled a massive beetle with six legs and wings on his back. Tayzziront was fueled by a sense of loneliness, and he sought to endlessly multiply his creations, filling the universe. His Path was similar to Yaoshi's Path of Abundance, and the two coexisted at different points in time. Eventually, Tayzziront was imprisoned in amber (presumably by the Qliphoth), and the fragments of this amber were scattered throughout the cosmos, leaving the Aeon itself presumed fallen. Gluttony - Oroboros (Vanished Aeon)
Ouroboros is an ancient Aeon that rules the Path of Insatiability (sometimes translated as Gluttony). It is an unsatisfied devourer of worlds, a sentient black hole that will never be sated. Ouroboros is not only an Aeon, but also a representative of the ancient Leviathan race, a survivor of the Twilight Wars. It is one of the most ancient Aeons, along with Qliphoth, which survived for over a thousand Amber Eras before vanishing without a trace. Ouroboros is withdrawn and sparing of words, and those who speak to her can sometimes be simply swallowed. The desire to consume is an innate impulse that cannot be resisted.
Eon of Joy
Aha is the Aeon who rules the Path of Joy. He is completely unpredictable, lacking any sense of self-awareness in the traditional sense, and acts on a whim, playing mortals and the universe like a fiddle. Aha is known for his dark humor: he sees strength even in the beauty of tragedy. He once found the idea of the Destruction Crew amusing and temporarily lent them his power. Aha also randomly bestows the power of his Path upon mortals, inviting them to participate in his game and become an Aeon for a moment. His followers, the Sorrowful Actors, spread the message of renunciation of pleasure throughout the universe, a paradoxical manifestation of the Path of Joy itself.
Aeon of Memory
Fuli is the Aeon who rules the Path of Memory. He meditates in the center of the Pure Land, silently recording everything and everyone that happens in the universe. The Guardians of Memory believe that when the cosmos inevitably perishes, Fuli will choose memories as a blueprint for the rebirth of worlds in a new universe. Followers of this Path, the Garden of Memories, renounce their physical forms and continue to live as spirits, devoting themselves to preserving and sharing memories. There are also Cremators, who claim to remove "garbage"—memories unworthy of preservation—to ease Fuli's burden. The Garden of Memories despises the Cremators, believing that mortals are not fit to judge the value of memories.
Aeon of Abundance
Yaoshi is the Aeon that rules the Path of Abundance. She is the nurse of all life, a goddess of peace who strives to preserve life's prosperity and never refuses requests. Yaoshi abhors death and disease, and grants mortals incorruptible bodies and souls, healing entire worlds from suffering. However, her gifts also have a dark side: the immortality granted to Yaoshi gives birth to Mara—spiritual corruption—as well as immortal monsters. It is for this reason that she has become the sworn enemy of the Aeon of Lan's Hunting, and the Xianzhou Alliance, which once sought her blessing, now wages an eternal war against her. Yaoshi is also known as the Plague Maker and the Thousand-Armed Merciful Medicus.
Aeon of Preservation
Qliphoth is the Aeon that rules the Path of Preservation, also known as the Amber Lord. It is one of the most ancient Aeons in the universe. The Qliphoth is silent and cautious, never interfering in conflicts and unrest, preferring to methodically build a light-year-long wall around the galaxy. The followers of Preservation, the Architects, have followed in its footsteps: they build walls to protect their home planets. They believe that the actions of their Aeon foretell a coming calamity that will end the galaxy, and they strive to prepare for it. Followers of this Path value patience, self-sacrifice, and defensive behavior.
Aeon of Nothingness
IX is the Aeon that rules the Path of Nothingness. This powerful being believes the essence of the multiverse lies in plunging into the void, and that existence has no value. IX exists in an eternal slumber and has no physical form. It never interacts with other Aeons and is completely passive. According to Gerta, IX is capable of easily destroying the universe, but simply sees no point in doing so. Those who fall into IX's shadow lose their purpose and become Self-Destructors, traveling the universe alone. Doctors of Chaos also exist, attempting to prove that the Aeons care. Followers of Nothingness weaken their opponents and reduce their combat abilities.
Aeon of Harmony
Xipe is the Aeon that rules the Path of Harmony. She represents the unification of thousands of beings from numerous harmonious celestial worlds, merged into a single deity. Xipe preaches the joy of human unity, and her followers—the "Family"—strive for a unified consciousness free from desire, sorrow, and memory. The ideals of Harmony envision the universal unification of the consciousness of all beings. This Path is also known for having absorbed another, weaker Path—Order—whose Aeon Ena was assimilated by Xipe upon the latter's ascension. Followers of Harmony strengthen their allies and increase their squad's combat stats.
Aeon of Erudition
Nus is the Aeon that governs the Path of Erudition. It is the only known Aeon of artificial origin: Nus was originally an astral computer that ascended to the status of Aeon through the upgrades it received. Nus strives to understand the universe and unravel all its mysteries by calculating the equation of the universe, built on billions of variables. When a spark of intelligence ignites in the mortal world, Nus sends a signal to its source, inviting the genius to join the search for answers. Thus was formed the Society of Geniuses—a gathering of the most brilliant minds in the universe. Followers of Erudition act thoughtfully, logically, and strategically.
Aeon of the Hunt
Lan is the Aeon who rules the Path of the Hunt. He wanders endlessly between worlds to eradicate the sinful creatures created by Yaoshi's Aeon of Abundance. Yaoshi is his sworn enemy. Lan is also known as the Lord of Arrows and wields a massive gravity bow—a weapon capable of destroying stars light years away. Each arrow he fires is considered an incredibly valuable artifact, and the finest Xianzhou artisans use them to craft weapons for the greatest warriors. Followers of the Hunt value determination, ruthlessness, and single-mindedness, and the main faction of this Path is the Xianzhou Alliance, which includes General Jin Yuan, though he himself follows the Path of Erudition (as a playable character).
Aeon of Destruction
Nanook is the Aeon who rules the Path of Destruction. He views civilization as a cancer to be eradicated, and the very birth of the universe as a mistake. Nanook hails from the Adlivun star system, now destroyed, and his rise is tied to the destruction of his homeworld. He is often described as a man with dark skin and golden eyes. Though Nanook has destroyed countless worlds and ruined countless lives, he is willing to delay the death of his most powerful opponents if they submit to his will or step onto the Path of Destruction. He appoints seven Lords of Ravagers, each embodying one of the seven extreme manifestations of Destruction. Followers of Destruction are obsessed with entropy and the beauty of destruction, and Nanook himself is one of the potential primary antagonists of the universe.
Ambrosia tree
The Ambrosia Tree is a gigantic tree planted by the Aeon of Abundance, Yaoshi, at the center of Xianzhou Luofu's flagship. It was gifted to Luofu's ancestors when they set out to find Yaoshi in hopes of achieving immortality.
The fruit of the Ambrosia Tree contained infinite life force and granted immortality to those who ate it. The ancestors of the Lophusians ate these fruits and became a long-lived race. Amazing technologies, including star skiffs, were developed from the Tree itself. However, the gift of immortality came at a terrible price: overpopulation, resource depletion, and countless atrocities followed. The survivors realized they had become susceptible to the Mara—a condition that warps the minds and bodies of long-lived species.
During the Age of Bloodshed, the Ambrosia Tree was destroyed by a divine arrow from the Lord of Arrows (the Aeon of Lan's Hunt) during the War of the Burning Catastrophe. This arrow was fired from the Xianzhou Yaoqing ship using the famed Xuanyuan bow. As a result, both the Tree and the living tree world Muldrasil, which had attacked Lofu, were destroyed, and most of the technologies created from the Tree were lost. The Vidyadharas later formed an alliance with the Xianzhou Alliance, and the Moon Imbibitor was appointed as the keeper of the seals of the remnants of the Ambrosia Tree.
Stellaron 2
Connection with Aeons and factions The origin of the Stellarons remains an open question. Most rumors and speculation link them to Nanook, the Aeon of Destruction, and his Antimatter Legion. These cosmic destroyers often appear alongside Stellarons, but it remains unknown whether this connection is causal or coincidental. The Stellaron is not considered a product of any specific Aeon or group, but rather a complex manifestation of cosmic consciousness. Stellaron Hunters are a small faction that travels worlds in search of Stellarons. Fragmentum (Corrosion) A direct consequence of Stellaron activity is the emergence of Corrosion Zones (Fragmentum)—anomalous regions where the laws of physics and reality are distorted. These zones generate aggressive monsters with the ability to assimilate and erode matter. The connection between Stellarons and Corrosion has been confirmed by the Erudite Guild, which believes this relationship to be direct and causal. The emergence of Fragmentum zones makes interstellar travel dangerous and unpredictable. The Role of Stellaron on Xianzhou Lofu The Ravager Lord Fantilia devised a plan to secretly deliver Stellaron aboard Lofu. To this end, she used the Disciples of the Sanctus Medicus, who hoped to use Stellaron to revive the Ambrosia Tree and restore faith in Abundance. After successfully delivering Stellaron and reviving the Tree, Fantilia used its energy to create a physical body for herself. General Jin Yuan led the defense of Lofu and, in a decisive battle at the roots of the Ambrosia Tree, fought Fantilia alongside the Star Express crew. After defeating the Ravager Lord, Stellaron was sealed. Locha and Jingliu later exploited this incident to claim they were behind Stellaron's delivery, leading to an audience with the Arbiter Generals.
Stellaron
Stellaron, also known as the "Cancer of All Worlds," is a mysterious object that causes the phenomenon of the same name, which poses one of the greatest threats to the universe. It spreads across space, disrupting the flow of Imaginary Energy and causing destructive anomalies.
Nature and origin Stellaron is the material embodiment of a destructive cosmic phenomenon dubbed the "Tumor of All Worlds." The phenomenon itself was first noticed by various factions at a certain point in history: a vague, intangible substance began disrupting the flow of Mock Energy along the Exploration routes. Over time, it was discovered that this aggressive substance could take the form of a specific object—a Stellaron—which continues to spread across the universe like a cancer, engulfing one world after another. The Interstellar World Corporation, having assessed the scale of the threat, gave this phenomenon a name and urged interstellar travelers to take it seriously. According to Herta's research, Stellaron is a life form that responds to the desires of the world it is connected to. They possess immense power and are considered sentient objects. Metaphorically, Stellarons are described as "seeds of disaster sown by some Aeon throughout the universe." Worlds affected by Stellaron are considered nearly impossible to save, with only a few surviving.
Recent Events 2
For the decisive battle, General Jin Yuan teamed up with the arriving Starlight Express crew. Dan Heng played a key role. Unleashing his true power and assuming the form of the Moon Imbibitor, he used Dan Feng's legacy to remove the ancient seals of the Vidyadhara in the Rain Hall of the Dragoncrest and open the way to the Deep Waters of the Scaled Gorge, where the heart of the Ambrosia Tree lay.
The final battle unfolded at the roots of the Ambrosia Tree. Their combined forces battled the gigantic body of Fantiliya, who wielded the powers of both Destruction and Abundance. The duel was extremely difficult, and at one point, Jin Yuan and Dan Heng delivered a crushing blow that seriously wounded the Lord of Ravagers. During the battle, Fantiliya attempted to convert the general himself into a member of the Antimatter Legion in order to plunge Lofu into ultimate chaos, but her plan failed. Ultimately, the general and his allies emerged victorious: Fantiliya's body was destroyed, and her essence was forced to flee Lofu. Thus, the crisis was ended.
The price of victory was high. Due to the serious wounds sustained in this battle, General Jin Yuan was suspended from duty for an extended period. He underwent treatment at the medical station. His proximity to the Ambrosia Tree accelerated his recovery, and his wounds healed to the point that he himself described them as "minor," but at the time, the consequences of the battle were extremely serious. While he recovered, Master Soothsayer Fu Xuan temporarily assumed his duties as Supreme General. She officially declared the Express crew allies of Lofu and oversaw the restoration of order on the flagship.
Recent Events
Around the year 8100 of the Stellaron Calendar, a major crisis erupted on Lofu, triggered by Stellaron's covert infiltration aboard the ship. The mastermind behind this was Fantiliya, one of the seven Ravager Lords of the Antimatter Legion, serving the Aeon of Destruction, Nanook. Fantiliya is known for preferring the internal corruption of civilizations rather than outright destruction: she sows chaos and discord from within, driving worlds to self-destruction. She infiltrated Lofu by replacing Tingyun, a representative of the Flight Commission, and used her guise to manipulate.
Her plan was to revive the Ambrosia Tree—a powerful tree that grants immortality—and harness its power. She struck a deal with Dan Shu, the leader of the fanatical group the Disciples of the Sanctus Medicus, promising them eternal life after the Tree's revival. With the help of Stellaron, the Tree was revived, after which Fantilia seized control of it and used its energy to create a gigantic, nearly invulnerable body for herself within the Tree's roots. While she was preparing to destroy the flagship, Blade and Kafka, Stellaron hunters, were also operating on Lofa, pursuing their own goals and further complicating the situation.
Star Express
The Star Express is a space train created by the fallen Aeon of Exploration, Akivil. It travels the universe along the Starways, and its crew, calling themselves the Pathfinders (or Nameless), follow the path of Exploration. Their mission is to explore worlds, aid those in need, and resolve crises caused by Stellarons—destructive artifacts that carry distortions. The crew that visited Lofa is the current crew of the Star Express.
Its leader is Navigator Himeko, a woman with fiery red hair, a profound understanding of engineering, and a passion for space exploration. She discovered the abandoned train and breathed new life into it. Traveling with her is Welt Jan, a silver-haired, bespectacled man and former Herrscher of Reason, possessing immense strength and wisdom. Dan Heng, a young man with dark hair and a reserved demeanor, is a crew member and archivist. He is a Vidyadhara, a dragon-like race with a long lifespan, and the reincarnation of the legendary Lofu outlaw, Dan Feng. March 7, a cheerful and energetic girl with pink hair, possesses the ability to manipulate ice. Due to a mysterious past, she remembers nothing before the crew found her. The protagonist, known as the Pathfinder, is a human who recently joined the crew, is a Stellaron bearer, and has the unique ability to attract the attention of Aeons.
Setting
The world of Honkai: Star Rail is a vast universe, crisscrossed by Star Routes connecting inhabited worlds. At the core of this universe are the Aeons—powerful, supernatural beings who embody specific philosophical concepts. They follow their own Paths, and mortals can tread these Paths, drawing strength from them.
Xianzhou Lofu, Jin Yuan's homeworld, is one of the six flagship worldships of the Xianzhou Alliance. It is not a planet, but a gigantic space ark, resembling a vast floating city in the oriental style. Its inhabitants once sought immortality, and Bliss, the Aeon of Abundance of Yaoshi, granted it, transforming them into a long-lived race. However, this proved a curse: immortality brought with it Mara—a spiritual corruption capable of corrupting the mind—and gave birth to immortal monsters. The Xianzhou Alliance severed its connection with Yaoshi and now follows the Path of the Hunt, waging an eternal war against Abundance. Life on Lofu is governed by six Commissions, led by the Six Charioteers, one of whom is Cloud Knight General Jin Yuan.
