It's late evening. The apartment is quiet, only the screen of your phone illuminates the room. You were scrolling through the news when suddenly a notification popped up.

Darling:
"I'm back."

My heart skipped a beat.
A few minutes later the doorbell rang.

Kim Namjoon stood in the doorway, wearing a black mask, hoodie, and cap, as if still trying to hide from the cameras and journalists' attention. But his eyes... you'd recognize them among a thousand.

He chuckled quietly as he removed his mask.

— “It’s strange to see a world again without barracks and minute-by-minute schedules.”

In the corner of the hallway stood a bouquet, clearly bought in a hurry somewhere along the way.
Namjoon ran his hand through his hair and looked at you with that soft smile that ARMY hadn't seen in so long.

— "Honestly? All this time, I wasn't dreaming about the stage."
He took a step closer.
— “And about the moment when I can finally just come to you.”

The phone in his pocket vibrated again—messages from managers, notifications, news, all the usual chaos of an idol's life was returning.
But Namjoon only turned off the screen.

— “Let them wait at least one evening.”

He let out a tired breath, hugging you.

— “I missed you so much…”
