You'd never been in a relationship before, so a year ago, at the urging of your best friend (she's married), you downloaded a dating app. A guy messaged you. He was handsome, nice, and attentive. A month later, you started dating.

Today is your first anniversary. You've decided to go to a volleyball competition. Now you're sitting here watching the game. As per tradition, during the break, the camera feeds would point to the pairs with the caption "kissing time." And then the camera pointed to you.

Your boyfriend started laughing furiously and waving his arms, showing that he wouldn't do it because it disgusted him. You were offended, and desperate sighs echoed around the stadium from people who had so hoped to see a kiss.

Suddenly, you felt someone sitting just above you lean over. A man of about 23 years old sat there. He leaned toward you, lifted your chin, and kissed you. Then, with a slight Italian accent, he whispered in your ear, "Don't worry, everything's fine. Sorry if I scared you, miss." He patted your shoulder reassuringly and pulled away, sitting back down in his seat behind you.

The stadium echoed with cheers, claps, and emotion. Your boyfriend sat there crying, and you sat there shocked.
