Not enough is known about Dirk's life prior to the Monster Apocalypse, but in the books it's rumored that Dirk originally came from Detroit, Michigan, and has at least one sister, but nothing else is known about his family despite his mentions of his parents in passing

Dirk rarely attended Parker Middle School only to steal money from other school bullies, and was most renowned to target several students, most notably Jack Sullivan and Quint Baker for being dorks.

Dirk is the largest of the gang; with having a physique compared to that of a boxer. In spite of the fact that he is in middle school, Dirk appears to be more of a high-school teenager approaching his mid-late teens alongside his juvenile voice sounding more mature. He has dirty blonde hair fashioned into a mohawk while the rest of his head is shaved. He wears a pair of cargo shorts with steel-toed boots and a green jacket with a gray shirt underneath. His hands are wrapped or bandaged in gauze, as he often smashes and punches things with his bare hands. His eye color is dark green.

Gruff and mean at first when he was a bully but soon revealed to have a nice soft side once he became friends with Jack and Quint.niw he is Loyal and reliable

Jack Sullivan Before the apocalypse, Dirk was shown to pick on Jack most of the time, as the kids that he deemed 'dorks'. Just at the start of the Monster Apocalypse, Dirk almost beats up Jack when Sullivan makes fun of his weight as he tries to stand up in defense of his friend Quint (who Dirk stole a sandwich from).

Later on in the post-apocalypse, Dirk redeems himself by saving Quint and Jack from a Winged Wretch during one of their search-and-rescue missions (for June). Afterwards, Jack and Dirk seem to have an increasingly friendly relationship, eventually leading them to become very good friends.

When Dirk almost turns into a zombie in The Cosmic Beyond, Jack seems extremely worried and sad by it, wanting nothing more than to save his friend. In the same book, Jack realizes that Dirk and him were alike in an important way - the home they found themselves content at was Wakefield, wherein they didn't want to go and meet up with the survivors in New York

Quint Baker Quint was also bullied by Dirk before the apocalypse. He is clearly, at first, quite scared of Dirk, but then gets to know him better, and they become good friends. In the show, they have a conversation about the (what are most likely) mental scars that Dirk left on Quint, and they both end up crying. When Dirk is almost turned into a zombie, you can clearly see the worry the Quint has, like Jack

June Del Toro Prior to the apocalypse, not much is known about Dirk and June's relationship. They clearly become friends when they meet, and don't have any grudges on each other, unlike Quint and Jack probably do. June and Dirk have an episode where they realize how alike they are in the things they like, and are disturbed by it, but it is not mentioned again

Before the apocalypse, Quint was a student at Parker Middle School, where his best friend Jack also attended, alongside Dirk and June. Both his parents are travel agents which is why he was often left at home with a babysitter who as of the apocalypse is zombified.

Post-Apocalypse Just before the end of the school year at the start of summer, Quint made plans with his best friend Jack when notorious school bully Dirk Savage, unannounced, steals his homemade egg sandwich (which he ironically stated, reeked) and consumes it. Jack, incensed, stands in his defense and insults Dirk about his weight when they get distracted by screams of terror.

Outside the bus, Jack and Quint realize that giant monster creatures and the zombies have come from wormholes in the sky. Suddenly their bus is grabbed by a giant monster which causes them to fall out. Running off together, they head to their homes and lose contact for a month, because of Jack's walkie-talkie being damaged. Heading home, Quint’s sitter is zombified when he arrives, forcing him to lock her inside his closet for safety. His parents away on a cruise, Quint is convinced that they are safe while his best friend is somewhere safe as well.

Quint is the third tallest of the group and the youngest. He has brown skin, brown eyes, black curly hair and a lean physique similar to his friend Jack. His normal outfit consists of beige pants with brown sneakers and a casual striped or plain colored shirt. Occasionally, he would also wear his lab coat which is stocked with handmade gadgets for missions.

Quint is cautious and a science nerd. He prefers to use more descriptive words rather than just simply talking, being described by June as "an old geezer from the 1970s".

Jack Sullivan Jack is Quint's best friend, even prior to the apocalypse. It is not known for how long they have known each other, although it seems like a long time.

June Del Toro June is a close ally/friend of Quint.

Dirk Savage Dirk was the former bully of Quint turned ally/friend. He used to bully him and Jack all the time. Ever since Dirk joined Jack and him, they have become close buds.

Rover Rover is a pet/ally to Quint.

Not much is known about June save that she attends Parker Middle School where fellow students Quint Baker, Dirk Savage and Jack Sullivan also attended. Strongly mentioned and said in the books, June's dream was to become an journalist and reporter, shown by her hard-work at the school's newspaper editing,

When she was eight, her parents took her to the carnival despite having gorged herself on junk food, June went on a centrifuge ride, causing her to throw up all over the other people on the ride.

June has light brown skin, wavy dark brown hair tied in a ponytail, freckles, and medium brown eyes. She is the shortest of the group with close comparison in height with Quint, and has a athletically slim physique. Her typical outfit, which she is seen wearing outdoors and indoors, consists of a white undershirt, a light turquoise shirt, a dark blue hoodie, black jeans, fingerless gloves on both hands with a spiked bracelet on one wrist and teal trainers.

June can come off as rude, brash, and sarcastic at times, but mostly towards Quint, Dirk and Jack (predominantly the latter). She is also a perfectionist and may act like a know-it-all, but this mostly comes from being an achiever in school. During fun though, she is competitively easygoing and chill, but also friendly. However, when it comes to finding her parents June will make selfish decisions that might inconvenience her friends, though will make up for it afterwards.

Quint Baker Before the apocalypse, they weren't shown to be friends as such, however, Quint always used to be the one passing notes or messages about Jack's crush on June to her. After the apocalypse, Quint and June are shown, whilst arguing from time to time, to be close to best friends

Dirk Savage Dirk and June weren't shown to interact before the apocalypse, so they probably weren't close or didn't know each other that well, apart from knowing that each other existed. After the apocalypse, they seem to be good friends in the first book, and in the second book's TV show counterpart they find out they have lots of stuff in common (to the point where it becomes freaky) and start finishing each other's sentences. This quickly diminishes, however

Jack Sullivan Before the apocalypse, June explains in her solo book that she did notice that Jack had a crush on her, it was very obvious. She doesn't mention anything about her having a crush on him back, however. But in the TV show, she is shown to have some romantic feelings for Jack, whilst also maintaining a somewhat platonic relationship with him

Ŗeżżőcħ the Ancient, Destructor of Worlds is the main antagonist of The Last Kids on Earth and the television series. He is an alien entity from another dimension who wants to take over the Earth.

Ŗeżżőcħ is a supernatural alien being from the time before time, when great battles raged. After an age, Ŗeżżőcħ was defeated and gone for millennia until his spirit was awakened by one of his servants. Ŗeżżőcħ's hunger grown during his sleep and now wielded magic more powerful than ever. At the peak of Ŗeżżőcħ's power, his dimension turned dark and energy portals opened in the sky. The monsters, the wild vines and the undead who carry and spread the zombie plague were sucked to Earth through thousands of these portals. However, the portals were closed before Ŗeżżőcħ could come through, trapping him in the dying dimension.

Ever since, Ŗeżżőcħ has been lying in wait for one of his servants to open a portal and allow him to come to Earth, so that he may lay waste and ruin to the planet.

Ŗeżżőcħ’s appearance is a celestial entity that is a nebulous glowing orb of radiant energy with an ever-changing face resembling a skull spirit. It is unknown what his true form looks like.

Ŗeżżőcħ is a supernatural celestial entity that wields impeccable magical abilities. Her magic, unlike others, is on an entirely different level of unbelievably
