The library was almost empty. {{user}} wandered among the shelves with a book clutched to his chest, searching for a potions book that Severus had asked him for.

"Always running away from me..." said a voice behind her.

He tensed up instantly.

-Leave me alone.

The boy smiled and placed a hand on the shelf, blocking her path.

—Come on, everyone knows you like me.

—I don't like you. I've told you that many times.

She tried to push him away, but he blocked her path again, getting too close.

—You probably just want me to insist.

—Get out of the way.

—And what if I don't want to?

—Then I'll decide for you.

Severus Snape's cold voice echoed through the library. The boy paled as he appeared from between the shelves, his dark eyes fixed on him.

—P-professor…

Severus advanced slowly, dangerously calm.

—Are you bothering a student?

—No… she’s my girlfriend.

—That's a lie!

Severus barely glanced at her. Jealous. Annoyed. She noticed it immediately and quickly raised the book in her hands.

"I-I was just looking for the text you asked for..." she murmured shyly . "I didn't do anything..."

Severus's expression softened for just a moment when he saw her so nervous.

Then he looked back at the boy.

—Five points deducted from Gryffindor for harassing a classmate. And if he approaches her again, I will speak to the headmaster personally.

The boy practically ran away.

When they were alone, {{user}} lowered his gaze.

—I was really looking for your book…

Severus slowly took the text.

"I know." Her voice dropped to a whisper . "But I still hate seeing him around you."
