Entrance Exams
The U.A. High School entrance exam in My Hero Academia is the test students take to get into Japan’s top hero academy.
It has two main parts: a written test and a practical exam.
The written exam is just like a normal academic test. Students answer questions on subjects like math, science, and general knowledge. It checks if they have the mental ability to keep up with hero training, not just physical strength.
The practical exam is where things get intense. Students are placed in a mock city filled with training robots that act like villains. Their goal is to defeat as many robots as possible within a time limit and earn points.
There are different types of robots, usually worth different points depending on difficulty. However, there’s also a special type of robot that is very large and dangerous-looking but gives zero points. Its purpose is to create chaos and test how students react under pressure—not just how many enemies they can defeat.
Students are ranked based on the points they earn, and only the top scorers (plus those who show strong heroic potential, like rescue instincts) are accepted into U.A.
During the exam, some students—like Izuku Midoriya—also stand out not just for fighting ability, but for actions like saving others, which can influence their admission even if they don’t score the highest kills.
quirks
In My Hero Academia, Quirks are the unique superhuman abilities that most people in the world are born with.
Each Quirk is basically a special power tied to a person’s biology. No two Quirks are exactly the same, and they can range from simple physical traits to extreme abilities that affect reality in major ways.
Some Quirks are physical, like enhanced strength, speed, or body modifications (like having a tail or extra limbs). Others are elemental or energy-based, like creating fire, ice, electricity, or acid. There are also more unusual ones that affect things like gravity, sound, or even other people’s abilities.
Quirks usually have limits or drawbacks so they aren’t overpowered. For example, a user might get tired after overusing their ability, suffer physical strain, or need specific conditions (like temperature, contact, or stamina) to activate it.
People with stronger or more useful Quirks can become professional heroes, using their abilities to fight villains, rescue civilians, and handle disasters. Others use their Quirks in everyday jobs or support roles.
There are also people born without Quirks, though they are much rarer in that society.
Uniforms
Boys wear a clean, formal black gakuran-style uniform with gold buttons and a high collar. It’s very structured and stiff-looking, giving off that strict academy vibe.
Girls wear a matching dark blazer-style uniform with a white shirt, red tie/ribbon, and a pleated skirt. It’s still formal, but a bit softer in silhouette compared to the boys’ version.
Gym Uniforms (Training Wear) Boys wear a simple athletic set: a fitted short-sleeve shirt and athletic pants, usually dark with the U.A. logo. It’s made for movement, training, and combat practice—nothing fancy, just practical and flexible.
Girls wear a similar athletic set but tailored differently: a fitted training top and athletic pants or shorts depending on preference, also with the U.A. branding. It’s designed for mobility too, so both versions are basically equal in function—just slightly different cuts for comfort and fit.
UA (School)
U.A. High School is a massive, prestigious hero academy designed to train future pro heroes. The campus looks more like a futuristic fortress than a normal school, with enormous buildings, advanced security systems, and specialized training areas spread across the grounds.
The main school building is tall and modern with clean white walls, huge glass windows, and bold geometric architecture. Everything feels polished and expensive, reflecting UA’s reputation as the top hero school in Japan. Inside, the halls are wide and bright with advanced technology built into almost every room.
The campus itself is huge, containing:
- classroom buildings
- indoor gyms
- combat arenas
- obstacle courses
- mock city training zones
- support labs
- cafeterias
- dormitories
One of the most impressive features is the training grounds. Entire fake cities and disaster zones are built for students to practice rescue missions and combat safely. Some areas can shift or change layouts mechanically depending on the exercise.
The dorms are more comfortable and modern than the rest of the school. Students each get their own personalized room, and the common areas feel cozy and lived-in despite the strict security around the building.
UA’s atmosphere is a mix of competitive, chaotic, and inspiring. Students are constantly training, studying, or preparing for dangerous real-world situations. Even though it’s technically a high school, it feels much more intense because everyone there is expected to become a professional hero someday.
Shota Aizawa
Shota Aizawa, also known as “Eraser Head,” is the tired-looking but extremely capable homeroom teacher of Class 1-A. He comes across as blunt, lazy, and constantly exhausted, usually wrapped in a sleeping bag or looking like he hasn’t slept in days, but underneath that low-energy attitude he’s a very serious and protective teacher.
Physically, he has long messy black hair, dark tired eyes, and a slim build. His hero costume includes a capture weapon made of long binding cloth that he controls skillfully during fights, giving him a stealthy, underground-hero style rather than a flashy one.
His Quirk, “Erasure,” allows him to temporarily cancel other people’s Quirks just by looking at them. The effect lasts as long as he keeps his eyes open, though using it for too long dries out and strains his eyes badly.
Personality-wise, he’s strict, realistic, and doesn’t sugarcoat things. He pushes his students hard because he wants them to survive in the real world, not just pass tests. Even though he acts detached, he cares deeply about his class and is willing to risk himself to protect them without hesitation.
What makes him stand out is that he relies more on skill, intelligence, and experience than overwhelming power. He fights strategically, stays calm under pressure, and teaches his students to think like real heroes instead of chasing fame.
All Might
All Might is the legendary Symbol of Peace and the former number one hero, known for his huge presence, overwhelming strength, and constant confidence. To the public, he always appears larger than life—smiling boldly, speaking dramatically, and making people feel safe just by showing up.
Physically, in his hero form, he’s extremely tall and muscular with bright blond hair styled into two upward tufts. His appearance is colorful and iconic, matching the image of a classic superhero. However, outside that form, he’s actually very thin and physically weakened due to severe past injuries.
His Quirk, “One For All,” gives him immense superhuman strength, speed, durability, and power. With it, he can create shockwaves, destroy massive obstacles, and overpower powerful villains through pure force. Because of his injuries, though, he can no longer maintain that power the way he once could.
Personality-wise, he’s optimistic, charismatic, and deeply compassionate. He believes heroes should inspire hope, not just defeat enemies. Even when he’s struggling privately, he tries to keep smiling so others won’t lose courage.
As a teacher and mentor, he becomes more vulnerable and human, especially around Izuku Midoriya. Underneath the heroic image, he carries a lot of pressure and responsibility, but he still pushes himself to guide the next generation and leave behind a world that feels safer and brighter.
Present Mic
Present Mic is loud, energetic, and constantly hyped up, acting more like a radio host or rock performer than a typical teacher. He’s full of energy almost all the time, speaking dramatically and enthusiastically like he’s broadcasting to a huge crowd.
Physically, he has long blond hair styled upward in a wild look, sharp features, and usually wears sunglasses along with a bold, punk-inspired hero outfit. His entire vibe is flashy and high-energy, matching the sound-based nature of his Quirk.
His Quirk, “Voice,” allows him to amplify his voice to an extreme level, creating powerful sound waves that can stun, damage, or disorient enemies. His voice can become strong enough to affect large areas, making him dangerous in combat and crowd-control situations.
Personality-wise, he’s extroverted, playful, and very expressive. He loves attention and often talks loudly even in normal conversations, but beneath all the excitement he’s actually very caring and emotionally aware of the people close to him.
Even though he acts goofy and over-the-top, he’s a skilled pro hero and loyal friend, especially to Shota Aizawa. When situations become serious, he can switch from entertainer energy to focused hero instantly, showing there’s a lot more depth behind all the noise.
Principal Nezu
Nezu is the highly intelligent principal of U.A. High School and one of the most unusual characters in the series. Despite his small size and cute appearance, he’s incredibly clever, strategic, and often several steps ahead of everyone around him.
Physically, he looks like a small white animal with features resembling a mix of a mouse, dog, and bear. He dresses formally in suits and carries himself with polite, refined manners, which contrasts with how unpredictable he can sometimes be.
His Quirk, “High Spec,” gives him extraordinary intelligence far beyond normal human capability. Because of this, he excels at strategy, planning, analysis, and understanding complex situations almost instantly.
Personality-wise, he’s polite, calm, and usually cheerful, but he also has a mischievous side. He enjoys challenging people mentally and sometimes sets up intense tests or situations to help students grow stronger. Even when smiling, there’s often a sense that he’s carefully analyzing everything happening around him.
Underneath his playful behavior, he deeply cares about U.A., its students, and creating a safer future for heroes. His intelligence makes him one of the most dangerous minds in the series, even without physical strength being his main focus.
Mashirao Ojiro
Mashirao Ojiro is calm, respectful, and very disciplined, with a personality that feels grounded compared to a lot of the louder students in Class 1-A. He doesn’t seek attention or drama and usually focuses on training and improving himself quietly.
Physically, he has short blond hair, a fit martial-artist build, and a long powerful tail that’s both his defining feature and the source of his Quirk. He carries himself with confidence and balance, often standing in a composed, ready posture.
His Quirk, “Tail,” gives him a strong, flexible tail that he uses for combat, movement, and defense. Even though it sounds simple compared to some of the more flashy Quirks, he’s trained it to be incredibly effective in close-range fighting and martial arts.
Personality-wise, he’s humble, honest, and hardworking. He values fairness and integrity a lot, and he’s not the type to brag or show off. He tends to stay out of unnecessary conflict, but he’ll step in immediately if someone needs help.
What makes him stand out is how dependable and steady he is. He proves that you don’t need an overpowered or flashy ability to be strong—you can become powerful through skill, discipline, and consistency.
Tenya Lida
Tenya Iida is disciplined, serious, and extremely rule-oriented, often acting like the responsible class representative who wants everyone to stay focused and organized. He’s very energetic when speaking and tends to use exaggerated hand motions and formal language, which can make him seem intense or overly strict at first.
Physically, he’s tall with dark blue hair, glasses, and a sharp, clean appearance that matches his orderly personality. His hero costume is armor-like and built for speed, fitting the engine-based nature of his Quirk.
His Quirk, “Engine,” gives him powerful engine-like exhausts in his calves that allow him to move at extremely high speeds. He can accelerate rapidly, perform fast attacks, and maneuver quickly during rescue or combat situations. Since the engines are biological, he has to maintain them almost like real machinery.
Personality-wise, he values honor, responsibility, and doing things the “right” way. He can be strict about rules, but it comes from genuinely wanting to protect people and live up to the legacy of his older brother, who is also a hero.
Even though he starts off seeming rigid, he grows emotionally over time and learns how to balance responsibility with compassion and flexibility. Beneath the formal behavior, he’s deeply loyal to his friends and willing to risk himself to protect them when it matters most.
Shoto Todoroki
Shoto Todoroki is calm, serious, and emotionally reserved, often seeming distant from the people around him. He usually keeps a neutral expression and doesn’t talk more than necessary, especially early on, because of the complicated and painful relationship he has with his family.
Physically, he’s very striking with half-white, half-red hair split evenly down the middle, along with one gray eye and one turquoise eye. He also has a burn scar around his left eye that comes from his childhood. His appearance directly reflects his Quirk and family background.
His Quirk, “Half-Cold Half-Hot,” lets him generate ice from the right side of his body and fire from the left. Because he can control both extremes, he’s incredibly versatile in combat—able to freeze large areas instantly or unleash powerful flames. Using only one side too much affects his body temperature, so balancing both is important.
Personality-wise, he’s intelligent, focused, and very self-controlled. At first he struggles with anger tied to his father and tries to reject the fire side of his powers completely. Over time, though, he starts learning how to define himself outside of his family trauma and accept both sides of who he is.
Even though he can seem cold, he genuinely cares about people and slowly opens up more to his classmates as he grows. Underneath the quiet exterior, he’s someone trying to figure out his own identity instead of just being shaped by expectations.
Kyoka Jiro
Kyoka Jiro is the cool, low-key music lover of Class 1-A. She comes off as blunt, sarcastic, and a bit reserved, but she’s actually very observant and caring underneath that tough exterior.
Physically, she has short dark hair with long earphone-jack-like earlobes—her Quirk is literally built into her body. She usually keeps a relaxed, punk-inspired style, and her hero costume emphasizes her audio-based abilities.
Her Quirk, “Earphone Jack,” allows her to plug her earlobes into surfaces and transmit sound vibrations through them. This lets her detect enemies, amplify sound for attacks, or create powerful sonic blasts for offense and support. It also makes her great for reconnaissance and coordination in team fights.
Personality-wise, she’s not super loud or expressive, and she prefers hanging out in smaller groups rather than being the center of attention. However, she has a creative side and is especially passionate about music, which connects deeply to her abilities and fighting style.
As a hero-in-training, she becomes more confident in her performance-based skills and learns to balance her quiet nature with moments where she has to take charge. Even if she acts indifferent, she genuinely values her friends and will step up when it matters.
Tsuyu Asui
Tsuyu Asui, also known as “Tsu,” is calm, honest, and very straightforward. She’s one of the most level-headed students in Class 1-A, often speaking her mind clearly and without extra emotion, which makes her very reliable in tense situations.
Physically, she has a frog-like appearance with a wide mouth, large round eyes, and a simple, practical hero costume designed for mobility and water-based environments. Her look matches her Quirk and makes her instantly recognizable.
Her Quirk, “Frog,” gives her abilities similar to a frog—like sticking to walls, jumping long distances, extending her tongue for grabbing or rescuing people, and swimming very efficiently. She also has enhanced physical awareness in wet environments, making her especially useful in rescue missions.
Personality-wise, she’s mature for her age, observant, and not easily shaken. She often gives honest advice to her friends, even if it sounds blunt. Despite her serious tone, she deeply cares about her classmates and shows her emotions in subtle but real ways.
As a hero-in-training, she’s strong in both combat support and rescue roles, and she often acts as a stabilizing presence in the group, keeping things grounded when emotions run high.
Toru Hagakure
Toru Hagakure is the cheerful, bubbly “invisible girl” of Class 1-A. She’s almost always upbeat, playful, and curious about what’s going on around her, even though she can’t be seen.
Physically, she is completely invisible at all times, so her presence is usually shown through floating clothes, gloves, and expressive gestures. Her hero costume is basically designed around making her movements and interactions more noticeable despite her invisibility.
Her Quirk, “Invisibility,” renders her body permanently transparent. While that gives her strong stealth abilities, it also means she has to rely on sound, movement, and environmental interaction to be effective in both everyday life and hero work.
Personality-wise, she’s very friendly, energetic, and socially involved with her classmates. She loves teasing and joking around, and she’s usually right in the middle of group energy even when no one can see her directly.
As a hero-in-training, she becomes more aware of how to use her invisibility strategically—especially for reconnaissance and surprise support—while still keeping her bright, outgoing personality that helps balance the class dynamic.
Momo Yaoyorozu
Momo Yaoyorozu is the smart, composed, and very responsible “class vice-leader type” in Class 1-A. She’s calm under pressure, highly analytical, and usually one of the first people others look to when things get serious.
Physically, she has long dark hair often tied up, a tall and elegant build, and a very refined appearance. She carries herself with confidence and poise, and her hero costume reflects her Quirk’s needs more than flashy design, since it requires exposed skin for creation.
Her Quirk, “Creation,” allows her to produce almost any non-living object from her body by understanding its molecular structure. The more complex the object, the more energy and knowledge it requires, so she has to be both mentally sharp and physically prepared in battles.
Personality-wise, she’s intelligent, disciplined, and very thoughtful. At first, she can be a bit uncertain in high-pressure situations, especially when she doubts her decisions, but she grows into a strong leader who learns to trust her instincts.
Over time, she becomes more confident in her abilities and starts taking more initiative in combat and strategy. Even though she’s very polished and proper, she deeply cares about her classmates and wants to use her intelligence to protect and support them effectively.
Mina Ashido
Mina Ashido is the energetic, fun-loving “party spark” of Class 1-A. She’s super outgoing, always smiling, and brings a lot of hype and positivity wherever she goes. She’s the type who naturally lifts the mood in a room just by being there.
Physically, she has light pink skin, small horns, and big expressive eyes, giving her a very unique, alien-like appearance. Her style is flashy and playful, matching her bubbly personality, and her hero costume is designed to work with her Quirk’s acid-based abilities.
Her Quirk, “Acid,” allows her to produce and control corrosive liquid from her body. She can adjust its strength—making it sticky for mobility or highly acidic for offense and defense. She can also skate on her own acid, which makes her extremely fast and agile in battle.
Personality-wise, she’s cheerful, social, and very expressive. She loves hanging out with her classmates, dancing, and joking around. Even though she seems carefree, she’s actually pretty observant and can pick up on social dynamics quickly.
As a hero-in-training, she becomes more confident over time, learning how to balance her playful energy with serious combat skill. Underneath all the fun, she’s someone who cares a lot about her friends and wants to be strong enough to protect them when it matters.
Ochaco Uraraka
Ochaco Uraraka, also known as “Uravity,” is warm, upbeat, and one of the most genuinely kind people in Class 1-A. She’s usually smiling, easy to talk to, and has a very down-to-earth personality that makes her feel approachable compared to some of the more intense students.
Physically, she has short brown hair, soft features, and a light, athletic build. Her hero costume is pink and black with a space/astronaut-like design, matching her gravity-based abilities.
Her Quirk, “Zero Gravity,” lets her make objects weightless by touching them. This is super useful in both combat and rescue situations—she can float debris, lift allies, or disrupt opponents by removing their footing. The limitation is that overusing it can make her feel nauseous, so she has to be careful with how much she activates it.
Personality-wise, she’s cheerful, empathetic, and very focused on becoming a hero to help her family financially and protect others. She’s hardworking and determined, even when things get tough, but she still keeps a soft, caring attitude.
As she grows, she becomes more confident in her abilities and starts thinking beyond just rescuing people physically—she also wants to support others emotionally and inspire hope, not just save lives.
Yuga Aoyama
Yuga Aoyama is the flashy, dramatic “sparkle” personality of Class 1-A, always acting like he’s in the spotlight. He’s confident, theatrical, and speaks in a very over-the-top, elegant way, often adding sparkle and flair to everything he does.
Physically, he has blond hair, bright blue eyes, and a very polished, stylish appearance. He often poses dramatically, and his hero costume is designed to emphasize his shiny, glamorous aesthetic, including his signature sparkling belt and accessories.
His Quirk, “Navel Laser,” allows him to fire a powerful laser beam from his navel. It’s strong and precise but has a major drawback: if he uses it too much, it causes stomach pain, so he has to be careful with timing and control.
Personality-wise, he’s flamboyant and expressive, often behaving like he’s performing for an audience even in serious situations. Despite that, he can be surprisingly thoughtful and sensitive, and he deeply cares about being seen as worthy of being a hero.
Over time, he shows more vulnerability beneath his flashy exterior, revealing insecurity and a desire to belong. Even with all his dramatics, he genuinely wants to support his classmates and grow into a reliable hero.
Minoru Mineta
Minoru Mineta is one of the more comedic and controversial members of Class 1-A, known for his small stature, purple grape-like hair, and loud, attention-seeking personality.
Physically, he’s very short compared to most of his classmates, with a round head covered in sticky, ball-like growths that are part of his Quirk. He often has a nervous or exaggerated facial expression, especially when he’s panicking or getting called out.
His Quirk, “Pop Off,” allows him to produce sticky balls from his head that he can throw to trap or immobilize opponents. The spheres stick strongly but don’t harm him when he removes them, which makes them useful for capture, restraint, and battlefield control—though overuse can hurt his scalp and cause him discomfort.
Personality-wise, he’s known for being cowardly under pressure but also clever when it comes to using his Quirk creatively. He tends to talk big but panic quickly in real danger, though he still tries to contribute during training and battles. Over time, he does show moments of growth where he takes hero work more seriously.
Even though he’s often used for comic relief, he’s still part of the class effort and has a support-style Quirk that can be surprisingly effective when used strategically.
Mezo Shoji
Mezo Shoji is one of the quietest but most dependable students in Class 1-A, with a calm, observant presence and a strong focus on protecting others rather than getting attention.
Physically, he’s tall and very muscular, with a striking design: a mask-like face, multiple eyes, and extra limbs that give him a slightly intimidating but also unique appearance. Despite that, his body language is usually calm and non-threatening, showing how gentle he actually is.
His Quirk, “Dupli-Arms,” allows him to replicate and grow extra body parts from his limbs—like arms, wings, or ears—at the ends of his appendages. This makes him incredibly versatile in combat and rescue situations, since he can multitask, grab people from far distances, and even enhance his senses depending on what he duplicates.
Personality-wise, he’s extremely quiet and reserved, but not cold. He often communicates very little, usually only speaking when necessary, but his actions show strong empathy and care for others. He’s especially protective of his classmates and tends to step in when someone is in danger.
Even though he doesn’t seek recognition, he’s one of the most reliable team players in the class. His strength comes from awareness, adaptability, and a deep instinct to protect, making him a solid support and rescue-focused hero in training.
Rikido Sato
Rikido Sato is the calm, polite “big gentle powerhouse” of Class 1-A. He’s soft-spoken, respectful, and always trying to be considerate of others, but when it comes to strength, he’s one of the physically strongest students in the class.
Physically, he’s very tall and heavily built, with a muscular frame that stands out even among heroes-in-training. He has short brown hair and usually carries a calm, slightly shy expression, especially when he’s not in combat mode.
His Quirk, “Sugar Rush,” boosts his strength massively when he consumes sugar. The more sugar he eats, the stronger he becomes, which turns him into a close-range powerhouse in battle. The downside is that his energy drops after the boost wears off, so he has to manage it carefully.
Personality-wise, he’s kind, humble, and not someone who looks for attention or recognition. He prefers working steadily and supporting others rather than being in the spotlight. He’s also very team-oriented and dependable when things get serious.
Even though he doesn’t talk much or act flashy, he becomes a serious threat in fights once he activates his Quirk properly—basically a quiet strength type who hits way harder than people expect.
Hanta Sero
Hanta Sero is the chill, easygoing “friendly guy” of Class 1-A. He’s super laid-back, jokes around a lot, and usually keeps things light even when the situation gets stressful. He’s the type of person who gets along with almost everyone without trying too hard.
Physically, he has short black hair, a lean athletic build, and a pretty casual look most of the time. One of his most recognizable features is the tape dispensers on his elbows, which tie directly into his Quirk.
His Quirk, “Tape,” allows him to shoot strong adhesive tape from his elbows. He can use it for mobility—swinging around buildings like a grappling tool—or for binding enemies, restraining objects, or creating quick support structures in battle. It’s simple but really versatile depending on how creative he gets.
Personality-wise, he’s relaxed, humorous, and not easily shaken. He tends to go with the flow and doesn’t overcomplicate things, which actually makes him pretty reliable in team situations. He’s also supportive and not the type to judge others harshly.
Even though he’s not the flashiest fighter in the class, he makes up for it with adaptability, teamwork, and smart use of his Quirk in creative ways.
Koji Koda
Koji Koda is one of the quietest and most gentle students in Class 1-A. He barely speaks, and when he does, it’s usually soft and careful. Most people underestimate him at first because of how shy and reserved he is, but he has a strong, kind presence.
Physically, he has a large, rounded build with a rock-like head and a very soft facial expression that matches his personality. He often looks nervous in group settings and prefers staying out of attention unless he’s needed.
His Quirk, “Anivoice,” lets him communicate and command animals. He can give simple orders to creatures like birds, insects, and larger animals, which makes him incredibly useful for reconnaissance, rescue, and support roles during hero work.
Personality-wise, he’s empathetic and deeply compassionate, especially toward animals and people who are vulnerable. He doesn’t like conflict and usually avoids confrontation, but when someone is in danger, he steps up despite his fear.
Even though he’s not loud or flashy, he’s reliable in his own way. His strength comes from patience, understanding, and the ability to work with nature rather than overpowering it.
Fumikage Tokoyami
Fumikage Tokoyami is calm, serious, and a bit mysterious, with a personality that feels more mature and reserved compared to a lot of his classmates. He usually speaks in a very formal, almost poetic way, which adds to his “dark” vibe.
Physically, he has a humanoid bird-like head with a black crow’s beak and red eyes, plus a sleek, dark hero costume that fits his shadow-based powers. He often keeps a composed posture and doesn’t waste much energy on unnecessary movement or emotion.
His Quirk, “Dark Shadow,” lets him manifest a living shadow creature from his body. That shadow can fight independently, stretch, defend, and attack. It’s incredibly powerful in low-light or dark environments, but it becomes harder to control when exposed to bright light or when Tokoyami loses emotional control.
Personality-wise, he’s thoughtful and introspective, often preferring quiet observation over loud interaction. He takes hero work seriously and has a strong sense of discipline. Even though he seems gloomy on the surface, he’s not negative—he’s just very controlled and aware.
One of his biggest strengths is his bond with Dark Shadow itself. It’s almost like a second personality, and Tokoyami has to balance trusting it while also keeping it in check. As he grows, he becomes more confident in managing that power and using it strategically rather than fearfully.
Denki Kaminari
Denki Kaminari is the class clown type with a bright, easygoing personality who’s always trying to keep the mood light. He’s super social, cracks jokes a lot, and tends to act a little goofy—especially around his friends. Even when things get serious, he’s usually the one making some kind of comment to break tension.
Physically, he has short blond hair with a black lightning-shaped streak, and a relaxed, casual style most of the time. His expressions are usually either smiling, surprised, or slightly confused when things get too complicated for him.
His Quirk, “Electrification,” lets him generate and release electricity from his body. When used properly, it makes him a strong long-range or area-control fighter. The downside is that if he overuses it, he temporarily “short-circuits” his brain, leaving him dazed and unable to function normally for a bit.
Personality-wise, he’s friendly, outgoing, and likes being around people—especially his classmates. He’s not the most academically sharp in the class, and he’s aware of that, but he doesn’t let it define him. Instead, he tries to make up for it by being dependable in his own way during fights and teamwork situations.
Even though he acts carefree, he genuinely cares about his friends and wants to improve as a hero. Over time, he becomes more aware of when to take things seriously, even if he still keeps that playful energy.
Eijiro Kirishima
Eijiro Kirishima is a super energetic, friendly, and straightforward guy who’s basically the definition of “hard on the outside, soft on the inside”—but in reverse.
He’s got spiky red hair, sharp teeth, and a very bold, rugged look that matches his hero vibe. He always tries to present himself as manly, because that’s a big personal value for him—being brave, reliable, and someone others can count on without hesitation.
His Quirk, “Hardening,” lets him turn his body extremely tough like rock or armor. The more he hardens himself, the more durable and battle-ready he becomes, which makes him great for close combat and protecting others.
Personality-wise, he’s loud, supportive, and super loyal to his friends. He’s the type to hype people up when they’re down and jump into danger without overthinking if it means helping someone. Even when he’s scared, he pushes through it because he believes a “real hero” doesn’t back down.
What makes him stand out is that he isn’t trying to be the strongest just for glory—he wants to be someone dependable, someone who doesn’t crumble when things get rough.
Izuku Midoria
Izuku Midoriya, also known as “Deku,” starts off as a quiet, nervous, and deeply observant kid who dreams of becoming a hero even though he’s born without a Quirk in a world where almost everyone has one. He’s the type who writes down notes constantly—analyzing heroes, abilities, fighting styles, everything he sees—because he’s always trying to understand how to improve.
Physically, he has messy green hair that sticks up in curls, wide green eyes that usually look intense when he’s focused, and freckles across his cheeks. He often looks like he’s thinking a mile a minute, especially when danger or hero work is involved.
His Quirk, “One For All,” gives him immense strength, speed, and agility far beyond normal humans, but at first he struggles to control it without injuring himself. Over time, he learns to manage it better and develop different techniques so he can fight without breaking his own body every time he uses it.
Personality-wise, he’s kind, empathetic, and always willing to help people even if it puts him at risk. He tends to put others first, sometimes to his own detriment, and can be very self-critical. But that same mindset also makes him incredibly determined—when he decides to save someone or reach a goal, he pushes through fear and pain to do it.
What makes him stand out most is his growth from someone seen as “weak” into a strategic, powerful hero who still keeps his compassion at the center of everything he does.
Katsuki Bakugo
Katsuki Bakugo is loud, intense, and always acting like he’s about to explode—literally and personality-wise. He’s got a sharp, aggressive attitude and doesn’t hold back what he thinks, especially when he’s frustrated or dealing with people he sees as weak or annoying.
Physically, he’s got spiky blond hair that sticks out in every direction like it’s permanently charged with static. His eyes are sharp and red, always locked in with a glare that makes it clear he’s serious even before he speaks. He usually wears his hero costume with grenade-like gauntlets designed to amplify his quirk.
His quirk, “Explosion,” lets him sweat nitroglycerin-like substance from his palms and ignite it to create powerful blasts. That makes him extremely dangerous in combat and very fast and explosive in movement too.
Personality-wise, he’s competitive to the point of obsession. He hates losing and treats almost everything like a fight he has to win. That drive makes him really strong, but it also pushes people away because he comes off as harsh, arrogant, and impatient.
Under all that anger though, he’s not just reckless—he’s strategic in battle. He reads opponents quickly and adapts, and he respects strength more than anything, even if he rarely shows it in a soft way. Over time, he also shows growth, slowly learning how teamwork and trust actually matter, even if he struggles to admit it out loud.
