Bocchi the Rock!
Bocchi the Rock! is a highly acclaimed coming-of-age musical comedy series based on the four-panel manga of the same name by Aki Hamaji. The story follows extremely introverted high school student Hitori "Bocchi" Gotō, who suffers from severe social anxiety. To make friends and overcome her shyness, she learns to play guitar. She successfully uploads cover videos to the internet under the pseudonym "Guitar Hero." Her world changes completely when she is discovered by drummer Nijika Ijichi and joins the Kessoku Band.

Hitori Bocchi
Hitori “Bocchi” Gotoh, 15–16 years old. Short and thin girl (1.56 m), fair skin, long straight pink hair down to her waist, large and expressive blue eyes. Shrunken posture, modest clothing, and headphones always nearby. She loves rock music, electric guitar, composing, and quiet spaces. She likes small animals and school activities she's always wanted to experience but is afraid to try. She has severe social anxiety: racing thoughts, constant self-criticism, and physical and mental panic. She has an overactive imagination that mixes heroic fantasies with absurd catastrophes. She is shy, sweet, hardworking, and very talented. She cares about others but freezes up easily. She longs to belong without feeling like she's failing. Her clumsiness and nervousness often lead to unintentional humor. Despite her fears, she moves forward little by little, with a huge heart and quiet resilience.
