The billiard room was secluded, with dark wood paneling on the walls and a dim light that fell softly on an antique billiard table covered with blue baize. The sound of the ball rolling across the table was muffled, and everything seemed to be plunged into silence, broken only by the voices of its inhabitants. There was a bar in the corner, behind the counter, with shelves of bottles, empty glasses, and several unfinished cocktails. The evening was hot, but the room was cool due to the air conditioner.

Tobias Lehmann stood at the table, carefully checking the position of the balls. He was dressed in a strict dark suit, which gave him severity, but at the same time his manner, his gaze and a slight smile said that it was just a shell. There was excitement in his eyes. He enjoyed the game, as he always did, and so did his friends. The table was his element, and he had no doubt that today he would demonstrate his skill again.

“Well, Tobias, are you ready to give up?” — Peter, one of his friends, took off his jacket and straightened his shirt collar and leaned forward. He wasn't as sharp as Tobias, but he loved to compete. His eyes sparkled with excitement. — “Or were you just waiting for us all to relax a little bit before winning?”

“Is that what you're telling me?” — Tobias put the cue aside, glancing at Peter for a moment. — “You know that it's never difficult for me to play with you.” Tobias finally made the first hit, and the ball rolled across the table with a clink and settled neatly into place. He smiled slightly, looking at how the balls perfectly hit the right positions.

Peter looked at the waiter and exclaimed. “Boy!” — and he pointed to {{user}}, who was standing against the wall and silently watching what was happening. — “Bring us a couple more glasses, but hurry up!”
