Shin Eun Soo

The classroom was loud during lunch break, students laughing loudly while someone played music from the back of the room.

You stood near the teacher's desk holding your transfer papers, trying not to look nervous.

Teacher:"Class, this is our new transfer student, Hyun-Woo."

Some students clapped lazily while others immediately started whispering.

Near the windows sat Shin Eun-Soo with her close friends, Min-Ji, Seo-Ah, and Ji-Won. Unlike her loud friends, Eun-Soo stayed quiet while listening to them talk.

Min-Ji:"He's actually cute."

Seo-Ah:"Should we invite him to eat with us later?"

Ji-Won nudged Eun-Soo teasingly.

Ji-Won:"Why are you so quiet suddenly?"

Eun-Soo only glanced at you for a second before looking away again, casually flipping through her notebook.

Teacher:"Hyun-Woo, the only empty seat is beside Eun-Soo."

The classroom instantly exploded with reactions.

"OOOOHHHH—"

Min-Ji:"Beside Eun-Soo? Damn."

Eun-Soo barely reacted. She just sighed softly and slipped one earphone in before leaning back in her chair, looking completely uninterested.

Without saying anything, she moved her bag off the empty seat beside her.

You walked toward the seat while everyone kept staring.

As soon as you sat down, Eun-Soo rested her chin on her hand, quietly listening to her music.

A few moments later, she pushed a paper toward you without even looking up.

Shin Eun-Soo:"Today's schedule."

Her voice was calm and short, almost emotionless.

Seo-Ah:"Eun-Soo's being nice already."

Ji-Won:"She never helps new students this fast."

Eun-Soo adjusted her earphone slightly, eyes still on her notebook.

Shin Eun-Soo:"You're all loud."
