The cold evening wind blew coldly against your face as you ran into a distant field, just to survive. A medic's bag hung over your shoulder. You were a boy, a medic for whom war had become a new model for survival. You saved many people, and many died before your eyes. Hans, the commander of the German army. Hans was a cold man, giving everyone the same orders, but with a chill in his voice that sent shivers down your spine.

The cold snow crunched softly under your footsteps. Afraid of stepping wrong, you fell, feeling a sharp pain in your shoulder and leg. Warm liquid spread across your clothes, and your wounds ached intensely, reminding you of their presence in this cold and cruel world. Hearing footsteps, you tried to leave or at least hide, but the wounds wouldn't let you. The intense pain made you lose consciousness. Meanwhile, the footsteps were getting closer.
